View Full Version : General talk Have to provide ID to view online porn??

Am I wrong in being informed that from monday you have to provide your ID to all kinds of disreputable porn sites in order to access them?

I confess, btw, my most common search entry is "Japanese group sex" mainly for the visual variety, or any scenario that features numbers. Innocent enough perhaps, but now to have my name and details - and your name and details permanently associated with your own searches?

Fuck that. The amount of ID theft and data leaks are going to be legendary.

Just use VPN. I don't know who this law is designed for. Any self-respecting teen below 18 would know how to use a VPN.

I've heard VPNs aren't as effective anymore, nonetheless it's still a ridiculous law passed. Mind you, is this is only if you want to create an account?

Thanks for the link bro.

Well there you have it. The labor government’s finally cracked the big issues facing the nation. Cost of living? Nah. Immigration? What immigration. Housing crisis? She’ll be right. But making you show ID before watching porn? Now that’s the kind of hard-hitting policy work we expect from Albo and his hired goons.

So now if you’re in Australia and try to jump on RedTube, YouPorn, or Tube8, you might get a polite message saying: "Yeah nah! Get fucked mate, not available in your region". Because apparently the plan is:
“Oi, before you watch something juicy and spicy could you just upload your passport, credit card, and birth certificate?”

Yeah that’ll go well. Nothing says safe internet time like handing your personal ID to a fucken porn site run by some dodgy mysterious cunt on the other side of the planet - What could possibly go wrong there?

Meanwhile the average Aussie is already halfway through downloading a VPN and suddenly he’s browsing the internet from Sweden like some sort of horny Scandinavian student. Problem solved in about 5 minutes flat.

Honestly the whole thing’s got the same outcome as putting a “Please don’t take” sign on an esky at a alcoholics anonymous club and thinking that’ll sort it. The internet’s been dodging rules since fucken dial up bulletin boards; but yeah nah, this is definitely the regulation that’ll finally put an end to it.

So the likely chain of events:
- Porn sites block Aussies.
- Aussies download VPNs faster than a bloke smashing tins on a boys night out.
- Aussie kids find creative ways to hack, crack, and break the system.
- Dark and deep web become networks of choice.
- Politicians hold a press conference declaring mission complete, and patting themselves on the back like they just saved the fucken nation.

End result: nothing changes, except now half the country technically lives in Iceland (according to their IP address).

What a fucked up plan!

When i saw the news i wondered if it will apply to this site and sites with rosters. Does the term adult content extend to punting AR's?

If i need to ID to log on here I'm outski. It will probably kill this site as you lose all anonymity. This site has crap security so any ID provided will bound to leak.

The legislation says a site can comply by using any of the following methods of age verification:
- Confirmation by a parent of age
- Photo ID
- Facial age estimation
- Credit card checks
- Digital identity wallets or systems
- Age inference by examining a user’s behaviour, interests, or other factors such as the length of time since account registration
- Third-party age-assurance vendors

I particularly like the one about age inference. I joined in 2012. Meaning, if we were to infer that I am now underaged, I would've had to be 5 years old when I first joined the forum. So I think I'm safe?

Also go Dark and Deep web, in punting terms it's the difference between hit her G spot and her A spot.

Nah bro you've been fed horseshit. Paid VPN, a decent browser (and not the overhyped crap) and a 5G or 50/20 NBN service will do the trick. If you're connecting using wifi you gotta use 802.11ax or WiFi6/6e (not 2.4Ghz a,b,g,h shit which is crap and fucked). Anything better/higher than the above specs and you'll be cooking with gas.

Not really, VPNs are quick! Most VPNs allow you to pick the location of the proxy server. For example, if you want to watch pornhub, just pick a server in NZ or Singapore and it'll be fine. You won't notice the slow down at all.

What are you saying bro! We're all elite athletes here and for many here punting is a professional sport. We train with WLs and MLs and use porn as a form of pre-match video analysis to study tactics, strategy, angles, power moves, and develop new playbooks. Porn is what gives all the blokes here a competitive edge over the simps.

For the bros who are chronically time-poor, with calendars choking on appointments, who are heroically busy doing absolutely everything for everyone… you might need to put together a step-by-step tutorial c/w pictures, arrows, maybe a few circles in red and lots of underlines and bold text - hopefully they'll be able follow the guide without pulling a hamstring thinking too hard.

Bro, not all VPNs are the same. The whole point of using a VPN in the context of bypassing country specific obstacles hinges on the VPN being hosted from a different country. That way it'll look like you're logging in from a country that is not Australia.
I bet the VPN that came with your Norton 360 is NOT hosted offshore. If it was, you wouldn't have been asked to sign up, etc.

In punting terms I think what GFM is trying to say:

If Norton360 VPN was a RnT, it'd be like that dodgy massage joint down a side street with a cheap flickering "open" neon light. You walk in, the waiting room has a couch that looks like it came from the Soviet Union and probably older than half the boilers working there. Mamasan's behind the counter having a full blown argument with a punter who claims his one-hour session somehow turned into 30 minutes.
You tell her you’ve got a booking. She squints at this filthy school exercise book full of hand-written scribbles, runs her finger down the page and goes "yes, yes....we have many girls, wait here, she free soon".
Thirty minutes later you’re still there, scrolling your phone, wondering if you should’ve just gone somewhere else.

Eventually the manasan yells out something in Chinese, and an old boiler comes out and waves you to a room out the back. You go in, the lights are dim, the a/c is rattling like a fucken lawn mower, the whole joint smells like mould mixed with cum.… technically the joint works but you’re not exactly feeling like you've paid for a premium experience.

That’s Norton 360 VPN.
It’ll get the job done.....eventually… but the whole time you're thinking there were probably better options if you’d shopped around first.

And just like RnTs, with VPNs YMMV.

Most porn sites are now working with age verification companies to verify the age of users logging on to them. The usual age verification methods used by these companies are either your email address, a selfy which looks old enough,, or various types of apps. I tried to verify my age with Xhamster using my email address, but it was not accepted as I have only been using my present one for the last 10 years, so presumably the software used by the verification company assessed me as being only 10 years old. I then tried a selfy of my 79-year-old face, which definitely looks its age, but that was also rejected (too ugly?)

You don't travel? There's more to a VPN than porn access. Gets you past the Great Firewall, past ME blocks, AND I'd strongly suggest using one when you connect to your personal (financial, social) accounts via a hotel's or coffee shop's wi-fi. Myself, I wrap my dick with a condom (mostly), and my comms with a VPN. Keeps me safe from the casual contacts.

Yeah I’ve noticed this too. Some sites are starting to ask for age or ID verification which is a bit worrying from a privacy perspective.

A lot of people are using VPNs now to avoid location restrictions and protect their identity online. It’s not perfect but it definitely helps keep your browsing more private.

Anyone here tried different VPN providers that actually work well with these sites?

Interested in getting a vpn like Nord but when you select another country as your server won't that cause issues with some Australian apps and sites you have set up, like local banks etc, whose security you'd think would jump in when they see a foreign country server?

Can you isolate the vpn for only certain apps, sites?

Banks aren't an issue for me. I leave mine set to Argentina most of the time. I need to switch it back if I need to place a bet, order from Amazon or login to a trading platform.

Nord sits in the system tray and takes 20secs to switch to an Australian server.

Would Nord vpn sit in your task bar and there's a drop down to move server source when you want?

You don't travel? There's more to a VPN than porn access. Gets you past the Great Firewall, past ME blocks, AND I'd strongly suggest using one when you connect to your personal (financial, social) accounts via a hotel's or coffee shop's wi-fi. Myself, I wrap my dick with a condom (mostly), and my comms with a VPN. Keeps me safe from the casual contacts.
VPN? Don't leave home without it. And along with the VPN, consider:
TP-Link Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6 AX3000 Travel Router TL-WR3002X – Multi-Gig Portable, OpenVPN, WireGuard, Public Network Sharing, Hotel/Cruise Approved, Phone Tethering, USB 3.0, Multi-Mode

Connect the AX3000 to your accommodation's internet (every time you move), and all your devices to the AX3000 (one time only). Musketeers solution: One for all, and all for one.

I've used Witopia VPN for decades. Have it on my computers (runs 24/7/365), android mobile, and AX3000 travel router. Can set up a favorite list, click on and off, couple of clicks to change location, kill switch, and allows split tunneling (certain apps use, others don't). Not free, but you get what you pay for, and they are quick to respond to questions. I've used it so long, I buy the multi-year license option. It's fast enough for my use, and I, as many would know here, use a computer frequently, even when I'm not sitting in front of it.
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/N-glTJWq1og

Personally, I don't bother with split tunneling. Just easier to toggle on/off if I hit a site that complains (or just switch to a vpn server in the country, e.g. Sydney Australia). Some sites use VPN detection; using lesser known servers helps.

Questions, DM me.

But not so much for security, privacy, exceeding the boundaries of geographic limits, defeating censorship, working remotely... Just like a condom, protects against many things (but not all). Also depends on who you're connected to. A VPN will just as well connect you securely to a scam website as it will a legit one. You're just communicating with envelopes, not postcards.

Thanks to this advice since my usual go-tos went all blurry screen, this has been my go to. I've been dreading that the next time I access this site it will be blurry too.

I don't like disruption or all that computer jargon and techniques. I'm a simple guy. I just want to turn on my computer as usual without any elaborate friggin' technical protocols and click on the site ! :burn:

The most dead simple option I having always used for all manner of purposes is Opera browser. Download, install and open. To the left of the address bar is a button that says VPN, click, select region and you're off. Fuck this government.

This sounds simple .... couple of questions from a novice

Can you choose when and for which sites you use the VPN or is it a blanket cover?
I shared an internet network with my partner - can I isolate the VPN use from her knowledge and have as my specific on request use?
Cost?

Thx!

Go to porndude.org and there are heaps of websites which work without any issue.
Alternatively, try some other country specific rules for the website eg: instead of xhamster use nl.xhamster and it will work without any VPN or blockage.

First the VPN is not device wide it only applies to whatever is going on inside the browser. Also there is an on/off switch to instantly turn it off whenever you need.

So yes, if you're using the same internet on different devices, you using opera browser has no effect on her internet etc.

There's a browser for phones and desktops called "Aloha" it has a Free VPN button you can just turn on.
It's fine if you only need it to visit the hub or google medical symptoms without google blasting you with ads elsewhere in your life.

Well I downloaded both Opera and Aloha at 150mb each to access the VPN's this page says are on them. But neither of the browsers could get to the final stage of functioning on my windows 11. Panels of gobbledegook came up at the last stage objecting when I tried to. So I couldn't even get to the stage of clicking on the VPNs on these browsers.

So the other thing mentioned here was Planet VPN, which isn't an whole browser apparently, just a VPN, if there is in fact any difference between the two. I don't know ***k all about this shit and the computer knows that about me so it presents obstacles such as the first two I've just mentioned.

So I downloaded Planet and again met with some initial success. I got this panel showiing me connected to a region (West Germany in this case) and there is a counting clock on it showing that I am in fact connected to that region. I think.
146762

In the top left corner there is something called "location search" and I hopefully thought that is where you type in the address of the porn site you want. But it apparently isn't. Or is it? In any case it didn't work. There is also no apparent way to make this VPN panel full screen and I don't really know what to do with it and how it helps me access websites. There is a "log in" at top right, but the advertising says you don't have sign up to use it and consequently at no point was I prompted to.

So it stands, three times with three different methods I've tried and I haven't got a ***king clue how to make this VPN work and access uncensored websites.

Regarding the usage of VPN be very careful. It can provide you with access to porn sites through an ip of a different country but it doesn't give you anonymity. Buying VPN is like giving your ID through your credit card.

Just to let you know half of the major VPNs belong to secret service operatives from a country in middle east https://www.mintpressnews.com/exposed-how-israeli-spies-control-your-vpn/288259/

It occured to me that this panel, which says that I am connected to a vpn is all it needed to do, you don't actually access websites from it.

So I then went to one of my normal browsers and typed in a site - youjizz in this case - and it came up uncensored, clear and sharp. :victory:

I still don't know how to choose the region, the planet vpn chose one for me - Albania.

Now, I don't know much about Albania and what I do know was mainly learnt from Liam Neeson - and none of it was good. :shout: However in a storm any port will do. :shout:

Before I figured this out one of the posts here mentioned the porn dude site which has links to heaps of sites that remain uncensored. But the ones I linked on were rubbish. Their search functions were crap, with just generic shit coming up with basically no relevance to what had just been typed in. These porn sites are all about finding specific preferences so the search function is vital. If that function is crap, the whole site is crap. I got sick of it after trying half a dozen sites, all equally crap. I was also worried about what sort of digital infections I might be picking up by visiting these crap sites.

Meanwhile the foundational well known sites have all got reasonably good search functions though none of them are ideal at it.

So anyway I'm glad I figured out how the vpn worked before one of you embarrassingly told me of my simple mistake.

That's right Ziggurat you're using a standard VPN (basically an on/off button which puts your whole computer (so to speak) in Albania. Whereas the browser VPNs mentioned above, only what you access from those browsers happens in Albania. If that makes sense.

Difference is you can have 2 browsers open, one in Aus, one in Albania using browser VPNs. Whereas with a normal VPN if you forget it's on and log into your online banking it looks sus. "Have you recently travelled to Europe Sir?" etc.

Some VPN's, and some browser VPN's, allow split tunneling, where some apps or sites are allowed to bypass the VPN routing. Believe Opera is one such, once configured. So using Google website would not use the VPN path, while an adult website would. Guessing that most standard "stand alone" VPN's don't provide split tunneling in the free version, that feature being provided in paid versions. Likewise being able to select specific VPN server locations in the paid version, rather than a default or limited area (Opera) selection. Or having a kill switch (if the VPN terminates, all comm stops. Example, accessing your bank, and halfway through, you notice your VPN has unexpectedly switched off, but your bank is still connected. Kill switch terminates all traffic.)

Full VPN, IMO, essential for travel, and for "out-n-about" local travel when using public wifi.

Zig, check your DM.
