Some health insurance plans have limited coverage for non-medical services such as remedial massage, acupuncture, etc by licenced therapists at licenced shops. There is a fixed payment per visit, regardless of time or any "extras" they may offer.

Avoid mentioning any such shops here, as it may affect their licence status.

You would think that shops would be very discreet about offering Hicaps but several of them openly display the sign on their Locanto adverts along with photos of topless girls. Some of them used to pretend to offer the discount then say "Sorry machine broken or not ready yet" but don't know if they still do.

I had one shop take the card and swipe it three times before declaring something wrong with the machine. Funny how each try was not the correct way 😂
