A massage parlour I frequent has raised its fees by 23.5%. A ML told me 14 Concord has raised its price too in recent days.
Anyone experiences the same price hike?

which massage shop and do you mean in one hit or gradually its gone up by that much since COVID?? If it got hiked by that much thats a real slap in the face for punters in today economy.... the answer is simple take ur business elsewhere. Unless they are spotting super models or have 5 star service hard to justify that price hike as value .... but then again reading about shops/girls charging extra for condoms not sure what to exepct next maybe charge for mouthwash and towel use too...

I've been going to 14 Burwood for 4 years now and they recently raised their prices for the first time in 2 years from $75 for 60 mins to $80 which is 6.66...%
Given current economy understandable and given they have showers in every room plus free fresh towels (161 Chatswood charge $5 a towel), water cooler, big tables, great Mamasan in Lily, good roster for most tastes happy to pay

All true .
Except the place is an absolute dump IMO
Only been once recently and it was fucking freezing.
The A/C was on cold and when I tried to tell her she continued to tell me it was on hot.
As for the showers . Terrible
Earmarked for demolition in the very near future

You have every right to your opinion however politely disagree comparing it to many other ML places I've seen - never been to WL shops or brothels so can't comment.
No not luxurious agree (nothing like Holiday in Penrith) but better than many with no showers - prefer ladies to be able to clean themselves after each massage.
Lily has always been great and rarely any hassles - girls good selection and wechat / roster usually accurate and honest
Ticks my boxes and will be visiting again regularly

Yes fair enough.
Holiday is good and I have a regular there.
I tend to punt less these days and try and visit the better quality massage places with the stunning young ladies. But of course that comes at a price so I get what you’re saying .

As I posted elsewhere, seems that any number of shops have gone to $80/hour from $75. Just like all of our utilities, it costs more to keep the lights on, the rooms comfortable. At least they can spread the costs out unlike us who are where the bill stops.
IME Burwood14 is a well run shop, older, but I'm not there for the decor but rather for the accomodations... Roster accurate as best as one can be, photos accurate. Bookings handled promptly. It can get congested but Lily directs traffic well. She cares about customer satisfaction. Discreet rear entrance.
Certainly Burwood14 is NOT Summerville, but then again, Burwood14 is also $20 cheaper than Summerville (cost of an en-suite toilet rather than a cubicle shower). I know I enjoy the convenience of an in-room shower for both pre- and post- rinses. And so do the girls. I know, I've asked when "she" works at several shops and which one would she prefer for our assignation. Just compare that to the shops who have NO shower for anyone, and "she"'s using wet wipes to clean herself...
Summerville, Burwood14, LSM, Pink Lotus... all fit my criteria of preferred shops.

Summerville is a 5 star joint compared to Burwood 14.
There is no comparison at all again IMO
No good having a shower ie Room 3 at Burwood 14 with taps that hardly turn and a tiled floor with tape to stop you slicing your foot open ?
The girl warned me to be careful as others have been injured in the past.
Seriously it’s not good enough.
The place should be condemned
Sorry but the place is a hazard whether you agree or not.

Seems we agree on Summerville being the gold standard.
But on BW14? Room 3 (to me) is the room next to the toilet. Now the last time I was there was a couple of months ago, but the taps opened (handle didn't come off in hand as one did in another shop - bit of a panic until I got it back on), water pressure sufficient. The biggest problem with that room's shower is the shower door closest to the room door - you have to be careful moving, otherwise, it can come off it's tracks. Slide too hard and you're standing there with "door in hand".
Can't remember if there was tape on the floor, but I don't remember treading "carefully". If you're so concerned, the obvious solution is shower shoes. Which, I keep thinking every time I step into one, even Summerville's, might be a good idea anywhere, or perhaps Athlete's Foot is unknown in Ozland. And even without fungus dangers, there's always the risk of "slippery floor" that shower shoes do solve. And they would reduce the risk of "stubbed toe" if not "face plant" in those establishments where the shower is built-in, with a slightly lower basin than the surrounding floor. Stepping down is obvious, the step up, in dim light, can be difficult to judge (or perhaps it's just my rush to enjoy what is to follow...)
Life is full of hazards, and, IME, BW14's are rather minimal.

Glad you find the place up to standard.
I won’t be returning as I can spend my money elsewhere and for the same amount receive a much nicer room for the price .

Summerville has nice rooms but the girls look nothing like their photos. Add on at least 15 years and so so service. I guess it depends on your standards and what you expect I guess

So true . The quality rooms including ensuites and A/C that actually work are a big plus .
I have seen some amazing girls here over the years .
And also some older ones that I wished I hadn’t . 😂

The only thing worse about a Rnt joint with no or lack of shower facility is getting wiped down by a damp smelling towel lol

Won’t be a problem at Summerville .
Worst case scenario is you can shower in the ensuite area and be treated to a towel and if you choose some deodorant etc to freshen up.
Just like all the other quality places .
I’m sure I don’t need to name them as anyone with punting experience knows where they are .

Literal non-issue. You're just a cheapskate.
