Apparently 80% of all sexually active adults carry the virus.
A FWB tested positive so i can only assume i have it too.
It's impossible to figure out who gave it to who as this virus can lay dormant for many years in the body.

Are you meaning HSV1/2 instead of HPV?

I think you're worrying a little bit too much about HPV.
Whilst there is no medical cure for the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) itself.
The virus is not permanent; and in about 90% of cases, the body's immune system clears the infection naturally within one to two years.
It's really not that scary...
Pretty much you never knew you had it, as you had no symptoms, and it showed itself out the door 1-2 years later...
