Flying internationally via Sydney and staying over one night near the airport.

Previous Sydney visited have been central and longer. Visited Ginza's, SBM and N5M in the past.

Amy recommendations for Mascot / support area or am I best just hoping on the train to Central and hitting one of the usuals ?

Train to Central, out at Devonshire Street, 3 minutes to Empire. Can’t go wrong. Nothing comparable to Ginza around Mascot.

No, I meant the Devonshire Street tunnel exit of Central. There is a new Chalmers Street exit too, but I deliberately said Devonshire Street because that’s what you walk up before turning right into Buckingham street, then left into Rutland and either right into Little Buckingham if you want to access Empire through the back door, or continue to Elizabeth and enter through the front.

Yes GC is defo a convenient location if coming in from the airport, especially if you’re heading towards the city cos it’s along the way. Make a left onto Cleveland St from General Holmes Drive. For parking, just park in one of the laneways around GC.

It is deceptively discrete. It's actually covered by like trees and is at the bottom of an apartment complex. Trust me I only got to shops I consider discrete and at night it is very hidden.
