I recently received a sms from an unknown number. The message said she is a ML and got my number from a shop in Chatswood. Now I have never been to the shop that she was referring to but maybe I had called once or twice to enquire (not recently). Anyway the message said she has started on her own and will be glad if I visited her. Rates are usual RNT rates plus FS on offer - I haven’t gone still but exchanged a few messages. She isn’t in one shop - keeps moving around the city in multiple shops as all MLs usually do. Anyone else got similar message recently and did anyone go see her?

No, but then I don't often shop in Chatswood. Yes, maybe a scam. Or maybe a ML looking to develop her own client list.

Like you say, a hopper, jumping from shop to shop. I'd ask for her current schedule, shop and day, then check the shops' rosters (here or xpages) to see if there's a photo. If visiting at a shop, rather than private, much LESS chance of a scam.

It's just advantageous for a provider to have her own personal client list that she can take with her.

I've had privates that I'd seen previously message out of the blue just to fish for another booking but not a random that I'd never seen before. I'd be a little weirded out by this, I don't think a shop would just be giving out client numbers to workers, I wouldn't engage - there's plenty of other girls in Syd.

I have heard it is very quiet where girls are look up years old contact to get a booking, even to the point they are sneaking a look at shop phone for any hopeful contacts numbers.

Oh contraire , shops DO give out client numbers to workers . Had only two or three visits to random shops and then out of the blue I get an SMS some weeks later (sometimes with a photo of "new" girl) for a booking.

IME, I've been in shops where the providers have to also serve as receptionists (which I think is unfair double duty that interferes with their PRIMARY BUSINESS). So perhaps a hopper availed herself of some unpaid benefits of said double duty? Or an employee passed on contacts to a friend, roommate, fellow countrywoman?

As I said, a private might entail more risk, but at a shop? What can you lose? (If you see bags of ice stacked in a corner, run Forest run).

The only thing suspicious is that she hasn’t reached out to anyone else yet from this forum (because no one’s admitted it so far). Otherwise she seems legit, messages are in decent English and respectful. Anyway i won’t engage with her too much and will message / call her if I am in Chatswood and enter the shop only if it looks safe.

Not everyone who patronizes shops are members here, and even if they are, if might not be worthwhile to post the fact of a contact.

I've never seen a shop that didn't look safe, but using public transportation, I've not ventured too far out in the outback. Chatswood just doesn't seem like the wild west (yea, ok, MAYBE THE wild north... but still...). How loud can you scream? How fast can you run down stairs? I'd take it as an opportunity to scope out a different shop and its contents. Or maybe I've watched too many Aussie Gold Hunters, Outback Opal Hunters...

Haha ofcourse I am not delusional to feel she is in love with me and how can she be if she has never seen me anyway. Never got any feelings towards any ML in my life - I crave to see some of them but never beyond. It’s just a transaction for me and I like to keep it that way consciously and subconsciously.
