New mapping and roster website - ausxmap

Hi, sharing a free resource in case it's useful to anyone. It isn't associated with any shop, there are no ads, nothing for sale and no paid listings.

ausxmap.com is a directory built on a map. Tap a pin for a venue's address, hours and phone. The roster each venue publishes for the day can be accessed with a free account. All of it comes from the venues' own public pages, and any shop that wants its entry changed or removed can use the form on the site.

The site indexes over 2,000 venues and over 5,000 hosts across Australia. Credit to DrDownload, whose map data I used as a starting point.

I like this, especially the UI - the only concern is that the shops are not updated. Some shops have closed which are still open on the site.

Thanks. I've removed about 90 closed shops and if you find any others that should be removed you can flag them with the "Report a Problem" link after clicking on the shop marker on the map.

No almost everything is automated, including a self-repairing scraper with throttling, auto translation of all content, sister shop recognition and extracting text details from host images (such as nationality). The only thing done manually is adding new shops and fixing problems which have been flagged.
