I hear ya! A few years ago you used to have 100 ads of the same girl spamming, a year later its opposite end of spectrum - 90% ads have disappeared. I rarely use it anymore, more out of curiosity & blind hope you stumble upon a unicorn.
For escorts, alternative is E&B, Scarlett Blue & Real Babes. For massage, prob get good enough intel just from posts here.

I'm finding that just using Google and putting Massage and the area that you want brings up quite a lot of responses and the "trained"eye can fairly quickly spot the ones that are of interest to us and sometimes find ones that we may not have thought of. If you are unsure of a shop try putting in just their phone number and see if it brings up any other adverts, sometimes I can find their Locanto advert when I can't find it when I actually look on Locanto which is as you say a crap website. Also there are a few shops and independents now advertising on Facebook Marketplace but if your profile is genuine then you will be giving them your identity when you enquire.
