Perving, punting will never be the same again when Google Glass becomes a reality !!

This is the first time I heard about it, from the Financial Review today: Google glass development is locked into a privacy battle with the local regulators!!

Can you imagine you can wear these normal looking glasses, and via voice command, take photo, record video and send the file back to your home computer or broadcast it to the internet !!

Here are some specs::

Features:

Photography and video

Google Glass has the ability to take photos and record 720p HD video. While video is recording, a recording light is displayed above the eye, which is unnoticeable to the wearer.[39]

Google applications

Glass will utilize many already-existing Google applications, such as Google Now, Google Maps, Google+, and Gmail. Third party applications announced at SXSW include Evernote, Skitch, New York Times, and Path. [40]

On April 15, 2013, Google released the Mirror API, allowing for developers to start making apps for Glass.[41] In their terms of service, they have stated that developers may not put ads in their apps or charge fees.[42] However, a Google representative told The Verge that this may change in the future.[43]

Well, I guess the most powerful and commonly used commands will be: OK Glass, Take a Picture, OK Glass, record a Video !!

And all the poor Escorts, WLs and MLs won't know what is gonna to hit them !!

That's only a design, not a new technology, the technology has been there for a long time.

Perving is OK in my book as a passing interest, recording is a gross invasion of privacy and should be banned !

well its not like you wont know its a video recording glasses. There are already glasses out with thicker frames that can record video and take pictures.
Privacy will definitely be a issue in the near future when you wont be able to tell, ones that look exactly like a normal pair of glasses.

Well, when I was a kid, I watched this TV show called Six Million Dollar Man by Lee Major, which was pretty cool at the time, and one of the features was that his bionic eye can zoom in and out and take pictures and record. Well, you won't need Six Millions for that technology now, that's for sure!!

This is definitely already an existing technology.

When I wore my glasses in a punt the girl came very close and looked in each corner of my glasses to ensure that wasn't a hidden camera there, so I think some if not all the girls already know about these types of items

Well, I know it sounds a bit confusing and contradicting but I am absolutely certain that if I have any photos or videos from the ladies, they will be safe with me, not so sure if they are in other people's hands.

The glasses will be treated just like any other piece of recording equipment.
So you won't be able to wear them to Massage joints, brothels, strip clubs, behind the customs section at airports, in confidential company meetings, in defence companies, etc etc

The Google glasses are not discrete, so you wouldn't be able to get away with using them without people knowing-so don't bother
I would like the convenience of using them in a non stealth way.
I wouldn't risk being caught using them inappropriatley...

Other places that I'm sure they should l be banned would be pools, schools, banks, the list is nearly endless...

Second is simply putting in a high power radio transmitter that transmits in the same frequencies that are used for wireless, 3G and 4G.

Yeah, Faraday cage is hard to implement if the shop has windows (not impossible, but costly).
The radio transmitter on the other hand is cheap as.. but if it's powerful enough to block the signals, the neighbouring shops will complain.

Yeah, I suppose that would make the radio transmitter fall in the category "not Commercially available".

So all is left is Faraday cage (the effects of which we see everyday, when we step into a steel caging call a lift)
or to have your shop inside (a steel concrete building) or underground so that there are no available networks.

Or in a remote enough area where there are no networks.
