As the title suggest, has any bros tried it and if you do please share some info here, is it worth the time to attend or its just waste of time?
i saw alot of speed dating sites in sydney, tempting to try it but dunno if its worth it.

Yep, waste of time for me. Being an Asian guy, with most of the girls being non-Asian, I didn't stand a chance.

And it's one of those situations where you really gotta have your game ready to go, cause you only got like 2 mins with each chick. So none of that "how was your day, so what type of work do you do" type of shit.

Yup I wouldn't bother with speed dating either unless its for asians only or when there are girls who wants to date asians, otherwise, you are just wasting your time and money

Funny, you never struck me as an Asian fellow.

I've never been speed dating, but knowing that you only got 2 minutes on the clock, I would try to be as interesting as possible and ask a random question or throw out a hypothetical situation to make them think. I once asked a girl if she would rather freeze or burn to death. Kind of morbid, but she texted me the next day with an answer and we hit it off. The point it that she had to think about it.

I say make yourself memorable and stand out. Simple "Hello how are you" won't cut it. You'll be another average schmuck, not to mention your chances already hurt purely by being Asian. I think if you can show her you don't fit into the presumption she has of you beforehand, you can come off as an interesting character.

ok that gave me a fair idea about speed dating then. Well i am sure there would be asians only speed dating in sydney area. maybe its just not popular, i am sure mannykay has got his game on XD.

You couldn't be more wrong, sir. I can assure you my game has never been on! ...lol

Don't think there's an Asian speed dating. It's more of a western thing, I can't see it being practiced in Asian culture.
