How did you come up with your profile ID ?

This seems like such an obvious question I am surprised cunninglinguist hasn't asked it yet - he has asked everything else! ;)
He did start a thread about peoples avatars but I don't think there has been one on profile IDs and even if it's been done it was probably a long time ago and there are lots of new members since then.
When I look at some IDs I think wtf? what does that mean? Is there a story behind it?
I will get things rolling ...
rooter is obvious to most people I guess.
root is Aussie slang for fuck so rooter means fucker (its probably originally british - but definitely not American - in American to root means to cheer or support your team as in "I am rooting for the Yankees"
I was originally going to call myself fucker but went for the more subtle rooter instead - but I regret it now - fucker would have been even better. I am surprised no one has called themselves fucker yet.
Anyway if I ever get banned I will come back as fucker ;)

I guess I picked up mine at the lake project that I used to work in. It doesn't have sexual meaning to it when I came with it but some friends of mine have said that it does in their language lol. The bottom line is I picked it up randomly. :)

I won't bore anyone anymore by re-telling my user name story for about the third or fourth time. An egotist, I am too guilty too often of volunteering personal information of the deepest interest to me and of the gossamer lightest, or no interest, to everyone else. Hell, I even started an entire thread some months ago, for Christ's sake, just to introduce my artily pretentious avatar. Cunninglinguist found it in the bowels of the forum somewhere and, inspired, started his avatar thread.

However I will re-state that my user name has nothing to to do with sex. So in that sense it is ironic.
