Hi brotha A, sure the money and lifestyle could be lucrative for many, but in all honesty with the small amount of jobs I choose to do each day, and the lengthy effort I put into bringing something special into my bookings (setting up the room in my long bookings with candles, music, fabrics, wine etc)..it doesn't really weigh up as some may think.

For me, the down sides to losing too much of my freedom to an industry I have been in for years was a main focus of my decision to stay on for a awhile...

Giving up a good secure income in the regular world to an industry which has no guarantees was thoroughly thought through, and hard!, but in all honesty the human contact and experiences I gain from spending quality time with those who choose to have a booking with me is something that has made me truly grow so much as a person, and would be another stand out point that comes to mind in my decision. Money is money, but time and experiences is worth more at this stage...

Ha, thanks for your kind words. I do have to add though... I have many financial concerns as everybody else, especially since choosing to move to this expensive city to live :surprise: Fortunately (or unfortunately depending on how u want to look at it) I have been brought up in such a way as to not put $$ in my highest of priorities as I have witnessed the stress and hardache that monetary worries can bring, therefore i try to live a simple yet humble life...

Somedays (due to all the advertisement and consumer brainwashing) I do fall into the trap of 'thinking' I need more $$, more materialistic pleasures etc...but in my heart of hearts I realize I am not and never will be one of those females who judge self-worth with financial accomplishments. If that was the case I might think I was a failure!

So, as beneficial as this industry could be, going up and down all day to various rooms with numerous clients has never been my strong point (been there tried that), and I gracefully accept the fact that its okay to do minimum jobs earning minimum $$ with the reward of maximizing personal experience in exchange..

..as long as I can pay my bills,rent and look after my cat, be completely independent and not have to rely on another for financial support I am happy. I'll never be 'rich' in money or have the best of the best brands and drive a fancy car, however I'll be rich in experience and in giving to others which enables me to sleep well at night :smile:

We'll there are a number of personal reasons why I decided to return to Liasions, and reasons that would be unjust to go into publicly here...

I will say though, that I don't want to disrespect Kyoto in anyway as they have been very good to me, and I am looking forward to doing the odd shift there again. I guess though that the working environment suits me better at Liasions, and given that my clientele that choose me in an intro are predominantly western it is better for me to work there. The majority of my clients through Kyoto were actually off the forum (westerners as well) as for some reason only a small handful of non-westerners actually pick me, and Kyoto has a large Asian-base clientele. I guess I felt I needed more stability for the remaining time I am in this industry.
