I was walking down Albert St this evening and was handed a brochure by a HAB with the following info - Gangnam Style Massage and Beauty. 10am - 10pm 7 Days. 132 Albert St. 10-10 7days ? Sounds legit to me :)

I tried this place the week it opened. Completely legit, I opened a tread as well at the time. Divider by curtains.

Lol funny.. Salute to the person who manages to get extras on a massage table separated by see through curtains, everyone walking by can literally see what's going on inside. Even the receptionist (who is a male) sits on the same floor, who can also hear everything.

I went to Mystyle this evening ... just around the corner from where I work ... it was a really great massage so I was thinking I had found my new favorite shop ... and that the patron saint of punters was smiling on me ... then the flip over and I asked about extras ... twice asked & twice refused ... the hand towel placed over my groin was waving in the breeze but to no avail ... left unfulfilled

Gangnam Style Massage and Beauty is on my way to and from work ... sooooo thought I would take up their opening special ... the 50 minutes aroma whole body oil massage for $49 (with free tea and footbath) ... started well - arrived and spoke to young male receptionist (no mama-san or mama-man just a mama-boy) ... I was asked to sit in lounge and received a cup of green tea ... next a 5 minute wait on the lounge and the MG (note MG=massage girl not ML) showed me to the "room' and gave me a tee shirt and shorts to change into ... puzzled, I asked why and she said foothbath ... so I changed and was led out into a second lounge area ... there waiting for me was one of those foot spars (you know the one that sell like hot cakes around mothers day, then sit in the cupboard for 5 years and end up un-used in the wheelie bin) ... so there I was sitting on the lounge chair in the tee shirt and shorts having the footbath feeling very foolish ... next into the "room" (bamboo like dividers between rooms that you could sort of see through) ... tee shirt off and shorts stay on for the massage ... the MG provided an above average massage (given her age, maturity, training etc)

verdict: this is definitely not a R&T ... and its not even a particularly good legit massage shop ... the shop is not well run by the 18 yo looking male receptionist (mamma-boy) ... staff are not just young but are very immature (one MG was sparing with the reception including kick boxing etc while I was having my footbath), my MG committed the mortal sin of MLs (she talked in Korean to the MG in the next "room"), the layout of the "rooms" means that you cannot have quite enjoyment during a massage (the punter next door to me continually tried to unsuccessfully chat up the MG and the constant talking pissed me off) and the whole body did not include the upper body after the flip over

they were not brand new (as out of the packet brand new) but they were freshly laundered ... yep I know your laughing ... so am now I but only on the inside
