Went back to 19 Prichard Place yesterday after about 12 months.

I went there when it first opened with the new management.

The price is cheap $100 an hour.

Time was almost up I was showered and dressed sitting on the bed waiting for the girl to finish dressing, there was a nock on the door and an exchange in Chinese followed, This was fair enough I thought don't know what was said.

Less than two minutes later there was another nock on the door and another exchange in Chinese! WTF how quick can a girl get dressed, what was the purpose of the second knock.

Then on the way out the Papasan showed me the front door he had a cigarette stuck in his mouth and blew smoke all over me as he asked me how was it?

Do you really want feed back? I so put the cigarette down and show a bit of respect for the client.

I said yes Ok could not get out of their quick enough I didn't want to go home smelling like a chimney, how would I explain that at midday.

The other thing, these shops spend a lot of money on advertising but they have a customer there why don't they do some free promotion and introduce the customers to the other girls?

I was going to ask to meet the other girls but with the smoke everywhere. I just had to leave. and yes I might even have seen a second girl if I met one that appealed to me. I was up for a second round.

He may not see them there and then but at least he may come back, in my favourite shop quite often I will see a second girl particularly if she is new and I happen to get to meet her and like her. Mind you my favourite shop could do better with in this area also.

As for the girl and the service I will do a separate AR on her.

Never been to Prichard Place but some of my best experiences have been at cheap brothels. If there is a connection with the girl you can get all sorts of off menu treats.

I have been to cheap brothels like Yoko's quite a bit. I find that it is still all about the girls. Yoko's for instances has some great girls that are over the 40+ so they charge less. The girls get into and so does the punter. There are no attitudes like you get at other places. It can feel a bit rushed at the end but that is why I take 1hour @ $120 as this allows plenty of time to relax and enjoy. Overall love my cheap punts, love my more expensive punts as well but it all comes down to the gals.

Customer oriented marketing seems to be a hard concept to grasp for some (or most).

Yes, once they take your money it's all over and you see the 'real' them.

Btw who is in your pic?

I've been here once. The girl (I forget her name her now) was not exactly in the prime of her life but I enjoyed my hour with her. The room itself was OK but for what I paid it was good value overall. I'd go again, to see a different girl.
Agree that the manager's customer service skills need some honing ...

I've never been to 19 Pritchard myself but based on my experience with shops that have similar prices I never get shown any other girl other than the one I've seen and everytime I ask I just get told all girls are busy

As for the customer service it does sound like the papasan has no clue how to show customer appreciation. In the shop I go to for cheap punts the mamas an was an ex-wl that used to work at the shop so I've been in the room with her several times so now she's always very nice to me when I come in

You get what you pay for.

You get what you pay for, but not in the sense of service, rather it's in the sense of the perceived quality of the girls !

For example, you can get better service in ultra cheap shops, including BBFS, because they can't rely on other factors as selling points !

Perceived qualities include young age, pretty face, sexy body, etc. Each to their own !

Friend, thank you for your information
I was considering Pritchard Place, but having read your cautionary tale, I may now wait for management to sort things out
Plenty of other polite and responsive businesses in Sydney. Long may it continue.

Lets consider Pritchard Place again when a few brothers write trusted reviews recommending the place once more

Just looking for a good experience, not a big drama is it.

May I make a few points, not necessarily related to the business described here:
1)Cant stand the taste of a smokers mouth, nor the smell of tobacco (cancer) smoke
- women please brush your teeth and gargle between punts if you are smoking

2)The papasan manages/employs the women
However, my cash and the cash of my brothers, employs the entire business - rates, wages and extras.
-If papasan shows me disrespect,
then papasan doesnt deserve my business, or the business of my brothers
-Papasans disrespect gets returned to him and the business x 20

3)If a business doesnt show respect to customers, I assume they also show disrespect to the workers - yuk

4)Creepy
Im a polite and pleasant person. When I call to make a booking, and I get a creepy feeling, then I back out from the booking.
Last week I rang a new place with basic enquiries - who is on tomorrow ?
The guy (sounded nonasian) answering the phone replied with a sneering attitude and a sleazy laugh. Yuk
- customer interaction with Papasan is quite important
- Papasan with sneering attitude needs to be replaced, pronto
- this Papasan probably thinks he is doing an ok job. Wrong
- I swear I backed out from that phone convo immediately, cash in hand quickly put back in pocket

We'll for me its all about service I always stay at least one hour.

This week I punted Sunday 2 hrs Tuesday 2hrs Wednesday 2hrs Friday 1hr, so I think I know what should be given in the way of service both from the girl and the shop.

It is much easier at a shop where you are known the girls know you, the mamasan or papasan know what type of girl you like or connect with.

For me I thought I would try 2 different shops for a change and they are closer to home for me.

I think 19 Prichard could be good without too much effort, the girl I saw there I didn't connect with but she was polite and did her job, that's punting.

And to be honest there are so many good girls around at a good price these days makes it a very competitive business.

If you don't get what you want then it's not far to go to the next shop.

Its certainly an eyeopener that with your extent of patronage, you are still meeting up with substandard service outlets
I agree that the venue discussed just needs a tweak or two, to be awesome
I've never been there, and have no need to, if my hard earned cash isnt appreciated as much as I appreciate my cash ; )

While we get these stories of 'customer being taken for granted', I am very concerned

Would have loved to be there when it happened.

Having lived in China for a number of years it sounds like typical service there! Though it's changed alot some Chinese just show contempt, specially to their workers. Power plays, little respect except for the money coming in!

I would have walked out and spoke to him in Chinese and hoping others were around so to have maximum loss of face! :cool2: :cool2:

Haha B man
I'm jealous you speak Mandarin / Cantonese
Man, those languages would be handy to have visiting our Sydney establishments
As you know this is Sydney, and us brothers expect courteous service, since we want to provide repeat business
In return we show courtesy to all

I probably should have stuck to my regular shop but every now and then it's nice to go for a Change the unexpected a real punt.

As for talking to the papasan I just wanted to get out of there before I stunk too much from the smoke, how would I explain that at home?

I respect others right to smoke they in return should respect my right no to.

Im agreement with you Oneonone
Fellow brother rang the establishment in question re roster, and got a very gruff guy on the phone, with a disdainful laugh
You just want to hang up and deal another time with someone more respectful
After all, we are handing over the dough, I wont deal with disrespectful, or distainful people
And I dont care they are answering the phone all day. Find another line of work if you cant do the job properly

I agree its interesting going to new venues
Its the phone manner of the person who answers the phone that to me, is absolutely critical, to working out if you can do business with that place
