- He presents ideas and arguments without any evidence and when asked to backup his posts he either: says "the evidence is there for all to see"; fails to answer; personally insults the person holding him to account; uses weasel words to twist meanings and try to get out of it.
- He has been labelled a troll by most members who bother to comment on his posts
- He tried to impersonate a Frenchman doing fake ARs but was exposed as not actually being able to speak French
- He frequently gets angry and loses his temper, and gets banned

It's the same guy who PM'd me stupid stuff and went all soft cock when I posted in on a thread (which he begged admin to remove). Eventually their habits or predisposition to act out gets the better of them. e.g. talking about how big their dicks are or calling other members pussy whipped or women. The one with posts remaining was easy - the forum search feature found the thread they posted in. The other was more tricky: the advanced search has a user search option with autocomplete, when I typed the username and it autocompleted it the data behind the scenes gave the user's ID, from this and the user's name I had enough to edit the address from another profile page to get to that user's page (sorry if this sounds complicated, it's actually wasn't much effort).

BTW, I recall there being an outspoken Arabic chap from somewhere in Western Sydney (I forget where) that seemed like another of this poster's creations, perhaps in the last quarter of 2013? That's all I recall of it but, and I certainly mean no offense to anyone if it wasn't (though I recall the posts were somewhat stereotyped and fake like the other "characters")

Looks like you are latching on to a post of a new member and blowing it all out of proportion, like a troll does.
I wonder what the new member will think of you if he starts reading some of your posts by your previous banned accounts, he may learn the following:
- You are a part owner in a number of massage shops
- You wrote fake ARs for those shops
- You have never written a real AR
- You impersonate a punter and try to convince people they should not go to higher priced shops, instead they should go to your shops
- You try to convince people that statistics about how a girl looks are irrelevant, so that people will see your girls based on your warm fuzzy fake ARs
- You present ideas and arguments without any evidence and when asked to backup your posts you either: say "the evidence is there for all to see"; fail to answer; personally insult to person holding you to account; use weasel words to twist meanings and try to get out of it.
- You have been labelled a troll by most members who bother to comment on your posts
- You tried to impersonate a Frenchman but you can't actually speak French
- You frequently get angry and lose your temper, and then get banned (15 times and counting)
- You are not real smart
- You don't add any value to the forum you are just a troublemaking troll
- And worst of all, you write bad poetry ...

There are more issues but that should do for now.

I have a question, which I know has previously been answered on this forum - but I can't find it, so apologies. Why can't admin track this bloke's IP address and simply block it? Even if he is using some fancy program that continuously generates new IP identities, by now surely you would have enough info on him to recognise the pattern. I'd have thought you could do this through your ISP. Am I demonstrating total ignorance of protocols here, or are these worthwhile suggestions?
Mobile internet has no fixed IP address, it can even change as you move from one location to another. And there could be a lot of people with the same IP in the same area !

Once I asked Admin to ban a troll via the IP, he found out I had the same IP with him at that time ! Haha

But he assured me it only takes 15 seconds to ban a troll, so it's no big deal, just that people have to help to flush them out !

I, long ago, learnt not to engage with him. He taunts me with silly little insults, which I ignore. I agree with you that if he keeps his nonsense to himself he should be allowed to participate. But the problem always is how he so successfully diverts and bullies. Sending discussions off onto tangents is fair and good - gives the forum colour - but to consistently render every single topic into a slanging match is beyond the pale. There is always someone who seems to give him an opportunity to insult others. I would be happier if you don't give him another opportunity to behave - he has had 18 such opportunities now.

It's not me whether to give or not to give him the opportunity, it's everybody's job. If Admin received enough complaints against one person, he will be banned.

IMHO, it is clear something isnt working, as people seem to be banned then just return with new eponyms
There is a theory that we need to continue to interact with these people to prove they are the previous troublemakers

But isnt it clear who they are already, and pretty quickly after their first few posts ?
Could ignoring and reporting obvious troublemakers to Admin quickly, be a more effective manner than giving them attention or replying to their posts ?

I dont see the need to "reveal troublemakers" by interacting with them first. The recent behaviours are just so obvious, that they just need to be reported

Some interesting information about this troll (all on the public record, just view his posts):
- He is a part owner in a number of budget massage shops (one in particular has only ever had one real AR, and it was bad)
- He wrote fake ARs for those shops
- He has never written a real AR
- He impersonates punters to try to convince people they should not go to higher priced shops, instead they should go to his shops
- He tries to convince people that statistics about how a girl looks are irrelevant, so that people will see his girls based on his warm fuzzy fake ARs (since real statistics about them don't seem to be attracting clientele)
- He presents ideas and arguments without any evidence and when asked to backup his posts he either: says "the evidence is there for all to see"; fails to answer; personally insults the person holding him to account; uses weasel words to twist meanings and try to get out of it.
- He has been labelled a troll by most members who bother to comment on his posts
- He tried to impersonate a Frenchman doing fake ARs but was exposed as not actually being able to speak French
- He frequently gets angry and loses his temper, and gets banned
- He is not real smart
- He has a demeaning attitude to WLs, MLs, and women in general.
- He doesn't add any value to the forum he is just a troublemaking troll

No reasonable person gets banned so many times unless they have a specific agenda or it is THEIR JOB to do so. Why he is being employed to do this I don't know. But his actions are very obvious once you know what to look for. He never changes his posting style as it is so identifiable which reinforces that it is merely a job for him.

He attacks existing users with insults. He trolls with political posts to try and build a psychological profile of its users. Its why he keeps posting in the political thread. Never properly responds to any posts with facts and never adds to discussion. Only rhetoric. Posts absurd stuff to discourage new users from joining by trying to give the impression that this forum is whack. His support of Rolf Harris (now a convicted child sexual molester, by unanimous verdict on 12 counts) in his child sexual abuse case, and he also denigrates the young girls who were abused by calling them "slags"
He outed a WL once by posting her real name and picture on a number of forums
He threatened some members via PM to expose their postings on the fourm to their employers, then he had the gall to lie about it.
He wrote fake ARs for the shops he part owns, and he has never written a real AR.
He is constantly big-noting himself and constantly bumps his "poetry" threads with cut'n'paste posts.

The three major parties will try to win that seat, but so too will the 70 other candidates nominated. So whoever is best at harvesting their preferences is in the best position to get that last seat. If one of these micropartie candidates can get preferences from most of the other micros, and maybe from one of the major parties, then he is in with a high probability of winning. Leyonhjelm has been doing this for years and finally struck lucky last election. He was aided by getting his party's name "liberal democrat" past the electoral commission's guard and a fortunate placing on the ballot paper. He was very lucky.

The problem with our current senate system is that we have above and below the line optional voting. This means that we don't know to whom the party has directed preferences, if we vote above the line.

Now Leyonhjelm has $1 million of tax payers money, and paid staff, to do his bidding. It is naive to say he is not using those resources to further his agenda.

yep, most people are like you. They just want to get on with their lives, enjoy the day and not worry about things with which they have little power to influence. But, there are also a lot of people whose entire existence is tangled up with getting the power to impose their views on others. These people are obsessed. It is all about power, not ideology or anything else. Just power. It repeatedly amazes me how even the most ideologically driven will quickly abandon a heart-felt position if it means inching closer to power. I suppose one can do endless psychological profiles of such people. They are trying to find validation for some childhood slight, or whatever. But the reality is that these people are the ones who do eventually get power. Rudd and Abbott are the obvious examples, but one can add many less significant people to that list. Generally the system protects us from the worst excesses of their egos. But some real nasties do slip through.

Not completely true. He did not get a full quota. I seem to remember he got 9% while the quota necessary to be elected, without preferences, is 14% (I haven't looked this up, so I concede my details might be hazy). According to exit polls, a huge proportion of those primary votes came from liberals who assumed they were voting for their party's candidate. His ballot positioning and his party's name helped him immensely. But he also had three registered parties on the ballot paper. He used these to harvest preferences.

There's nothing inherently wrong with these types of preference harvesting deals. The major parties do it all the time. Of course when they are disadvantaged by the same arrangements they cry foul and call for reform of the electoral system.

But you are suggesting something very different - that Leyonhjelm was behind several micro-parties which he used to channel preferences. This is illegal. Do you have any evidence to support that very serious accusation?

And it wasn't illegal (I think it has since been made so - not sure about that, but I know the libs, labs and greens were all talking about changing the electoral laws to prevent it happening again). Thqts why I consider mLs to be true friends in a way, because they know my secret, but still accept me and don't judge me. And goes Vice a versa.

There's only one friend who was the guy who first introduced me to punting, many years back. Can't thank that guy enough.
