I don't know much about the Taiwan punting market, but I reckon it is similar to Hong Kong, and for those brothers who are not familiar with the currency:

One HK dolllar is around $3.80 New Taiwan Dollar and it is $26/$27 NTD for One Aussie dollar.

So by charging AUD$800 a shot, it is like charging $21,600 in Taiwan dollars. Which is not a lot of money if you are talking about third tier print media model or c list celebrities, they can easily get $100,000 a night for entertaining local or overseas businessmen !!

Reason why 100,000 holiday visa has been granted because 18 dollar wages by working 8 hours a day n 7 days a week (let's talk abt non over time basic pay m cash in hand) would equal to 1008 aud
It's around 28000 Tw money
28000 on 52 weeks base will equal to
1456000 Tw money

As far as I know lots of them work on this base in South Australia by doing butcher work
By the way million Tw money is a lot to normal worker in Tw which you were right

However I believe this Rinka is not one of those normal workers yeah? Lol
