Keep general talk as general

It has been always shops doing advertising in general talk
Anyone else think keep general talk as GENERAL TALK is a good idea ?

Ads are a tad annoying but should be tolerated, after all they are paying for the privilege. Us punters aren't. Some ads are quite informative!

You can always sort threads by prefix up the top of the page if you don't want to see the ads.

Indeed. This comes up every few months, and though it feels like the ads have died down alittle, nothing changes.

This is an awesome community with a wealth of knowledge so I put up with it.

General talk for a shop is promoting their shop and bumping their posts so its all relevant.

Like a lot of us punters on here you may not agree or like it but at the end of the day the shops pay the bills the punter does not or at least he may in the long term but he is not putting the money up front! The shops are the ones doing that!

It has been discuss before and I would say is quite ok at the moment. A few months ago was pretty bad and there was many complain from punters.

1st world problem to many ads(I love shop ads) Lol! Who cares(@lot of people), no one can stop it(admin)!!! Not even a mass uprising of forum members.
