Talking regular, non-WL here...if a girl wants to know your age and star sign, would you think she is interested?

A girl asking your age and star sign is just idle chit chat - doesn't indicate whether a girl is interested or not.
Asking someone's age in Western culture might be considered a bit of a personal question but in Asian culture its a very common question.

context dependent, but my hunch would be no, just idle chit-chat

Avoid.

She's an air head. If you date her she'll drive you crazy with drivel about her friends, shopping and whether people think she's fat/cool/dumb/smart/lucky.

Just sounds like standard chit chat, however depends on the context of the conversation.. If that was the start and end, probably no.

It is true! I ask sometimes not only because i am interested in that person but also just make a conversation. But if that person is really really not my type, then i would not ask any.. Any question🎅

Yeah, it's pretty much the same like "how was your weekend??" Or "Such a nice day today.." Unless, she touches your hand while asking those questions.. :D

I disagree
Some women really take an interest in astrology and how it relates to relationships
Its also not uncommon for women from some cultures, to ask you your blood type, for the same reason
Believe me, when you are asked your blood type, this is not small talk, this is relationship screening

Good_guy_greg, some women do just use the question in a group setting as small talk, but they are only asking that question because they have some knowledge about astrology
So there are two reasons it is used
Firstly it can be used as general small talk, astrology is an interesting topic for many
Most times, in a one to one conversation, however, they are using astrology as one way to "screen you"

Interest level can be determined by your answer. Just be truthful. (Unless you know your astrology and find out her birthday before you are asked the question)
Believe me, the question will often come

You need to do your homework. Often a woman will ditch you if you are the wrong sign. I never know my blood type, so dont answer this question

Yeh, Japanese girls are into blood types. Used to get worried they had vampire tendencies.

I used to read about some law in the USA many years ago, you had to get a blood test before you got married; if you and the girl had conflicting types (likely to cause defects in children) you couldn't get a marriage licence.

95% of the shit she or you say won't mean jack.
It's all about body language dude.
Just pretend to be interested in what she says and make her laugh.

Hey guys, thanks for all responses.

It definitely does depend on the context in which it is asked, but I just thought I'd isolate it and ask it as an independent question. Maybe I'm biased, but I tend to agree with harmony in that the chick was probably asking me as a way of screening me as a potential partner. I think it's kinda silly that girls believe in this, but when I looked it up, it seems we would be a good match, just hope that she looked up the same site haha.

And whitedude, you obviously don't read my posts properly, I said she wasn't a WL.
