Anyone go with their mates for a punt?

Let me start by saying I always go solo for a punt, and no one I know would know or suspect that I visit WLs.

So does anyone here punt in pairs or as a group? And how do you find like-minded mates - did it just come up in conversation that you were a punter too?

I have a friend who punts very regularly. I punt occasionally. We compare notes. We have mentioned it a couple of times but never happened. We have some work to do in October that I have pulled him in for and I am paying him pretty well. Visiting establishments with a mate was how I got introduced to this amazing side of Sydney. I still remember we drove all around Sydney with him showing me all the shops and telling me the goods and bads.

Now I tend to go alone though, mostly because I feel bad of telling mates how often I go now. Lol.

Wingman and I do an odd punt together when we're feeling adventurous... Especially when there are new shops to road test... We haven't continued our journey past Pyrmont unfortunately... Always getting lured back in, week after week by Summer...

This also reminded me of a time when I celebrated a birthday at the Golden Apple. A good decade ago. Wingman, another friend and myself picked our girls and went off to our rooms. I shared a big room with a spa with Wingman. He had good use of the spa with his WL, while I was getting acquainted with my WL on the bed... Expensive punt at the time, but it was an experience...

Plus countless times at Angeltown with Wingman and the other said friend...

Working with a business partner at the time with a penchant for cheap punts was a hazard. Especially when doing work for brothel owners. Once works are completed, sure enough there is always the invitation to sample the girls, minus the house cut. We would only pay for the girl's hourly cut, which brings us both back to square one after each job!
