Yeah, right down to the wire, I think the Broncos got it with two min left, then Hunt got penalised and the Cowboys marched up field! And Morgan took three defenders with him before off loading to the winger to score at the corner!

16-16, Thurston has the coversion from the sideline to win it and complete the fairytale! But there shall be one more twist, the kick hit the upright ! Extra time golden point , first time in grand final history as well !

Then Hunt again, made another mistake spilling the ball on kick off, Cowboys Scrums from right in front but it took them three more tackles to set JT up for the 1 pointer win ! That's how legend is made man !!

What a game !!

Well done JT, Paul Green and North Queensland Cowboys !

Well done to JT and Cowboys - even as a broncos fan at the game it was shattering, but you had to feel happy for NQ (fans, players, all involved)...

1. I don't, and will never blame Hunt for the dropped ball - that's life... however, he does and should receive a little more blame with a silly lifting tackle with moments left in the game.

2. Golden point is no way to decide a grand final. Should be an extra time period (5 or 10 minutes each way)... If the Broncos had of won with their first use of the ball that would have had a hollow feeling to win TBH as it really is a flip of a coin and I can't fathom how an entire year's work can come down to chance.

Regardless, how can you be too disappointed in being at the game and seeing that - unforgettable!

Broncos fans were gracious in defeat, Cowboys fans were gracious in victory - Australian sport needs more of that.

I know it was the fairy tale, but think JT was fortunate to get clive churchill medal (Milford was relentless all night, Blair was immense in defense, and numerous Cowboys were on fire!)

I was sure NQ had blown their bolt after JT threw a great ball for a certain try and it bounced off the dope's chest. You get very few opportunities like that in a Grand Final and this was late in the game. By rights that should have been the game for them if he'd caught the ball. Instead they had to rely on literally last second chances, knock on gifts, and as Brother Rooter aptly said "fairy tales" to win.

Having said that, I've seen games decided on conversions, and a state of origin decider too, (Michael O'Connor from the sideline) both after the siren, but I've never seen a premiership potentially decided on one. That interval between the try and the kick was as dramatic as it can get in sport. Terrific theatre.

Fair comments ! But that's how Wayne Bennett coaches his team and when you have more superior fire power, you could play fire with fire and go for the kill, but the Cowboys is the best finisher in the comp and they are always looking more likely to score than the Broncos in the second half, so I have no issue with their fifth tackle options! Cameron Smith, Lockyer and Thurston won plenty of Origin games playing the same !

But I think it was Hunt's lifting tackle the previous set which gave the Cowboys the field position for that final march upfield !

Very costly !

The Storms will need Billy Slater back and can move Muster to five eight who is a star in the making !

Broncos should be very hard to beat next year . The dark horse could be the NZ Warriors ! With Roger at 1, Johnson at 7 and Issac Luke at 9, that's the Kiwi Spine and they can beat any team !

Hawks will win again next year !

Purely based on transfers of new personnel and assuming no injury problem and each team pretty much play their best footy in 2016! which is a big ask and even bigger assumption :

Just like Ben Teo returning to the Broncos and Sam Burgess a Rabbitoh again !!
