The assumption seems to be that this question is asked by girls trying to check if you are a cop etc in order to decide if they will provide extra service. But I get the feeling that they sometimes ask it to find out what girls you may have seen before. This could be to decide what services to offer, what prices to charge, or just to gossip about who else is providing extras.
