Depends on girls, mate. Most of ML/WL working for money. So money should be their target. But some of them are nice. They date with you just because they want to know you. I dated with a WL, had sex many times but she didn't ask for money. Ofcourse we went out for lunch, dinner... I paid for it. She asked to pay for it but I said no :)

A WL wanted me to take her out to dinner and pay...and I also paid for her to accompany me to the U.S for a week.
Finally another WL wanted me to pay for a subject at uni...I did.

Depends if you are after a fling or not. Most Chinese men who wants serious relationship will not date a mainland Chinese girl, because they know most of them are after your wealth and security.

I have dated a WL for nearly a year and we are still having contacts now even she quited the sex job for over a year. She has never asked me for money although we often went to hotels on her day off. I still paid her when I visited her in the shops she worked. I did give her gifts like iPhone 6 and other things for her birthday or on some occasions. A genuine girl can be found anywhere. They may be working in a restaurant or in an office but they don't see material obsessions clouding their thoughts or feelings towards guys. If she likes a guy, she likes him for who he is and not for financial reasons.
