I am visiting the Gold Coast this week. Since I heard so many better things about Goldy, it would be a crime not to try a shop there. After going through the past posts, I am deciding between two shops. One near Harbour Town (industrial area), and another in Mermaid Beach (Red Door). Any other recommendation? Due to time limit, I can only try one. I know I am new into this forum, but would appreciate PMs or reply. I will write a review :-)

any of the chinese shops along the highway is good. why go all the way to Harbour Town? try a second shop by saving your driving time.

If you go near Broadbeach then stop off at Fantasia. Can't go wrong

I am actually from Brisbane. So it is kind of on the way. But I may try something (or someone) further south!!

Finally I had the chance to visit this place. Unfortunately, my first experience at a shop in the Goldy was a total disappointment.
When it comes to massage, I always go for 1 hour. I don't know why, but I went for half an hour on that day. Thank God for that!!

I was greeted by a fairly cute lady at first. I thought she wasn't too bad. But she went inside and introduced me to ***. She was average at best, but I went with her. Big Mistake!!
She told me she was from Hong Kong. But when I told her that I had been there once. She didn't show any interest to continue the conversation on that topic. May be her poor English didn't help either. I believe she is from mainland, but it really doesn't matter. It was her third day at Fantasia. That`s what she told me.

Her massage was pretty average. She did try to work on some knots, but pouring too much oil didn't help it. I was soaking with oil. the relaxation was the worst of its kind in a similar facility. I am serious. very mechanical. She gave me a running commentary on time (e.g. you have 3 minutes left). She didn't finish it properly, left the room.

I know it is a well known place for good service, many of us had great times, but one or two untrained, unprofessional MLs are good enough to ruin the reputation. Anyway, will I return? May be! I will try other places first though. But definitely, I will not see the girl again.

Same here. Never had a bad shot there. Anytime I can't decide on another place, I always end up there, and glad for it.

I think Southport is starting to get a little expensive. It is not uncommon to find places now wanting $80 and above for an hour and NOT be inclusive.

There really aren't any shops you can go wrong with down there, mate. Too many to keep a log of the many different aliases.
