Guys watch out for the wechat scam.
Whenever you're on wechat and some girl only wants to communicate in chinese then its a scam. They will usually ask if you can speak chinese. I'm an aussie so I can't speak chinese so i usually play along and say i don't like to speak Chinese. I try and waste their time as much as possible and eventually I insult them. Anyway they will say go to this location which is usually close to a 7-11. They will then ask you to purchase a itunes card and want you to send them a picture of the receipt and iTunes card. They'll then take the money and you won't hear from them again.

Luckily my chinese friend warned me about this and when this was occurring it clicked to me what was going on here. They'll ask you for your number too and try and blackmail you if you don't go through with the iTunes pic.

I usually send them the number of the cops. Some of these agents or scammers are located in sunnybank. They are connected to other scammers in taiwan. The person you are actually chatting to is actually a guy.
