So I was on wechat and I was asked if I was interested in the services of a girl that is doing part time work. She has outrageous cheap prices. Says she is 22. $150 for the hr. $200 for 2hr. First alarm bell.

I was directed to 231 George st. Going there I noticed that 231 George is all commercial. More alarm bells are going off. I was asked to go to 7-11 and purchase $150 iTunes card. Strike 3.

I said that I wanted to cancel, and think that it is a scam. She then tells me her boss is very angry with me for wasting time. That he would track me down by GPS on my phone, blah, blah, blah.

I blocked and reported wechat as a scam.

Then pimp rings me and leaves 2 abusive messages. Well I assume that they were abusing me as I could not understand the language. Might not be the end of it. Will let you know if there is a follow up abuse.

Anyway, I cannot confirm that it was a scam. LMK if you have had any similar experiences.

i had a similar experience, although didn't get to the 7-11. I got verbally abused too, but that was the end of it.

ITunes scam is old now. There's a wechat thread here talking about the scams. They basically get you to show a photo of the details etc before they "see you"

There are so many of these scams in Brisbane. They are usually guys from Taiwan. Don't send a photo of the iTunes card or if you do send a fake picture. I constantly fuck with them if i'm bored and have an hour to spare. I say yes i'm at 7-11 and they don't sell iTunes card or i say send more pics. I sometimes send a pic of my shit when they ask for the iTunes pic. They will usually ask if you can speak chinese.

So you pay for sex with an iTunes card? ... I don't get it ...

... I don't get it ...

That's the point, you won't get anything. They ask you to send them an itunes card voucher over the phone and you will never meet anyone. They just take your money.

Drove out to a place at toowong one night and was waiting to be let in for ages. They asked for a selfie and then itune cards. I told them "fuck off scam artists". They surprused me by returning an image of a murdered man who had very similar appearance to myself. A death threat lol. I shook it off and went for a delightful visit at aqua massage.

it's a scam, they are not in Brisbane so dont worry about them tracking you down.
