while i'm aware of the rescue efforts of a number of organisations, I was surprised about the number of sex tourists who are killing themselves. She juggles the sponsors when they come to Thailand (and they all think that they are the only boyfriend) to suit her own calender. This girl is of course the exception to the rule but some girls do earn big money. Goodlooking go go girls can command reasonable money but do not get taken every night, some massage girls get several customers per day and earn fair money, some beer bar girls (eg Soi 6 Pattaya ) are doing 6 -10 short times daily and $300- $400 per day AUD. It's called leverage. so while the 'male' might be spent after 1-2 hours and happy to sleep it off, the girl can go back to her other guys and be earning $$$. Then come back to see original guy, she can be fresh, showered and nails done, meanwhile forgetting to mention the other two guys she fucked while punter A was asleep.

Not sure why you are trying to deflect the question. It just makes seem more likely that it's a baseless claim. Surely it's easy to demonstrate your claim by some simple calculations of what the girls hourly rate is by how many hours they work and the days. I am sure there are enough punters here with experience to support such a calculation it stacks up.

RLP...if you have ever been to Thailand you should know that they girls rarely do hourly rates stuff like in Australia. Most do either LT or ST. Longtime being that they stay overnight and usually it is only 2 shots. Short time is exactly that ...mostly one shot and they are gone. More and more girls are doing ST thereby increasing their earning power. The girl I mentioned in my previous post has NINE sponsors ( sorry suckers) that send her money every month so that they can have exclusive rights to her when they are there...one sucker sends her $5000 every month...so that is at least $60k per annum. She has the other sponsors (suckers) sending lesser monthly amounts thinking that they are the only ones and are unaware of each other. thank you for confirming what I was saying, only private operators can make that sort of money. No one being rescued from a club is on 100k let alone keeping it. Everyone is also ignoring the second point i raised, even if a girl makes that much money where does the money go? How many of these girls keep the money for them self as opposed to handing it to their parents/siblings/bf?

Very often things work out as follows for blokes who move to Pattaya. Most guys who move there have visited quite a few times on holidays. They eventually find themselves one way or another in a position to be able to move there. At first they love it because they get to have so much sexual variety. After a while the novelty wears off and he starts to get emotional, letting his heart rule his head. A lot of Thai girls these days are finding it more lucrative to sell fake love rather than just sex. The unfortunate guy finds himself in a relationship with one girl. So he begins a long distance relationship, works long hours, phones her daily, and sends her money, often very large monthly sums. Many girls have 2 or 3 suckers on the go at once. Each buffalo truly believes he is her one and only. She works at the bar and takes time off when each buffalo visits. I know a lot of blokes reading this think these guys must be really stupid and naive. Not so. I have had too many mates that this has happened to, and take my word for it, every one of them was a mature, astute, worldly and intelligent man. Some of them have parted with enormous sums of money. None of the dollar figures guys have posted on this thread surprise me in the least.

Living in Thailand these days is not nearly as cheap as it used to be. While apartments, food and the general cost of living is still very cheap, the girls are getting away with charging a lot more now for 3 reasons. Firstly demand for their services has greatly increased because far far more tourists go there now than was the case 20 years ago. Secondly there are a lot more suckers willing to pay far too much now. Thirdly, and I expect to be disagreed with on this one. Thai working girls are generally not very attractive, so the pretty ones get away with charging a lot more than the ordinary ones. Moreover Thailand is a very difficult place to make money in. English teaching pays very poorly, there is little other paid work available for the vast majority of punters, most of whom are at least 30. Businesses bought by farangs are rarely very profitable. So if a bloke is to live there he generally needs quite a bit of money. Most blokes sooner or later run out of money and have to go home. Unlike Filipinas and ladies of many nationalities, most Thai girls, even the poorest, have no desire to leave Thailand. Ask yourself this. How many Thais live in Australia compared to Filipinas, Chinese or even Indonesians? Some guys who run out of money really don't want to go home. It can be very difficult for a man who has lived in Asia to adjust to life back home. I can't say I'm surprised that suicide is common.

The golden rule in Thailand is to be a butterfly not a buffalo. Follow this rule and your stay in Thailand, whether for 2 weeks or a lifetime, will be heaven. Break this rule and it may become hell. I am not the first punter to give this dire warning and I won't be the last. The big mistake I have seen so many make is that because Thailand is such a sexual wonderland, especially compared to a punting backwater like Australia, that a man can very easily come to believe that Thai women are different from Western women. I would like a dollar for every time I have heard a bloke, whether a newcomer to the Kingdom or a seasoned Thailand veteran, compare the women of his own country very unfavourably with the Thai girls he is enjoying. Remember this, WOMEN ARE ALL THE SAME in every country. At best they love you when you when you are winning. Love is in fact the delusion that all women are not the same. It is the society that is different not the women. A great many men who go to Thailand, especially those who stay long term, have had some very unpleasant experiences with the women of their own country. Many are divorced and have been relieved of huge amounts of money, pride, dignity, access to their children, their hard earned house... by their former wives. Many are bitter and say things like "unlike Aussie bitches Thai women have not grown balls". Whether this is true or not is irrelevant, what matters is that they come to believe that Thai women are not the same as all other women. It is hardly surprising that they come to this erroneous conclusion given the contrast between the mill they have been through and the punting paradise that Thailand is. A man in his 40s, unless he is a rock star, a successful party drug dealer, incredibly funny, rich and socially skilled, or very outstanding in some way, is generally considered an "old man" in Australia, even by women his own age. In Asia a 40 something man is considered a young man, which in fact he is. In Thailand he is easily able to establish a relationship with an attractive woman half his age, which he would never be able to do in Australia. From there it is but a short step to be transformed from a butterfly into a buffalo. Kingwally you are spot on for the order in which the money often goes and you have rightly put the family first on your list. This is a big part of how the package is sold to the buffalo. How often have I heard "They are so poor mate I want to help her family, set up a shop/bar/rice farm for her family..." The buffalo is invited to meet the family, to stay with the family in Isan.He is the honoured guest, he is treated like a king, if not a god. He experiences hospitality such as he may never have experienced before, and in all likelihood has not. If he had gone to meet the family of a 21 yo from Brisbane it is hardly necessary for me to suggest how things would work out. Many, but of course not all, men who move to Thailand are nice guys, and everyone knows the saying about where nice guys finish.

There are vast differences between punting in Thailand and in Australia. One of which is that a man who punts here very often is not a single man. He already has a wife or gf and is thus less likely to seek a relationship with a working girl, although it does happen. A man who already is in a relationship is able to easily separate sex from emotion, punting from a relationship. By contrast the bloke who has moved to Thailand is usually not already in a relationship when he enters the Kingdom. The way punting works in Thailand is totally different from here. It is a lot more like a date and can much more easily lead to a long term relationship.
