View Full Version : General talk STD check service / clinic recommendation

Hi, my dear folks,

Can anyone recommend any good clinic for STD checking service ? When I google it, there are tons of them and not sure about their reputation. From my own perspective, a good one should show the following characteristics:

1. Comprehensive and Accurate check: it would be great to test as many as possible in one go ...

2. Private and Efficient: I certainly do not want to leave any 'footprint' in either my personal or family medical record; also, it would be great to avoid as many personal questions as possible, e.g. how many sex partners do you have, are you married or not, etc. (and just curious, why should we be asked anyway, given the urine and blood can tell the truth...). Surely, the sooner the testing result is available, the better.

So, any thought ?

Hey Brother

Here you go http://www.health.nsw.gov.au/sexualhealth/pages/sexual-health-clinics.aspx
These are clinics that specialize in STDs ONLY, they are free and confidential, i have tried the city, North Sydney and Camperdown ones, and i always get the best service and advise and they don't judge.

Their doctors and nurses only treat STD patients so they know what to look for and they give amazing advise, it usually takes 3-5 days to get your results and if infected they will treat you so it's a winner.

Also for all of us out there, name and shame the girl and shop who might have given you an STD so the other brothers don't fall victim

To be fair, would you also name and shame yourself if you're the one who gave her the STD in the first place ? ;) ;) ;)

Well that's a fair point but we enter the good old question. What came first, the chicken or the egg, if the girl uses condoms for everything including bj is very unlikely that she'll get something and/or pass it. It's just a good opportunity to stop brothers from seeing that girl. There is nothing worse that dealing with an std if you're in a relationship.

All I'm saying is, name the girl so no one else gets infected and if the shop owner sees the review then they can get the girl to fix herself up. In the end it's our responsibly to be safe, i always 'dom' up even for bj but shit happens.

Both are anonymous, and $$ free but not sure free for only WL or everyone :)

Personal hygiene also plays a part in causing disease, it can come from either party.

Naming a girl or shop without substantiation is just as bad as malicious attack, because there's no proof that the girl is the carrier nor that you got it from her !

The correct procedures should be to inform the shop and demand an answer, it's the shop's responsibility to get the girl tested. If no answer from the shop or the answer is not satisfactory, and the girl is still on roster as usual, then you can name and shame.

It's not the girl's fault if she got STD from a customer...

RPA Sexual Health Clinic at Camperdown.
Free, Anonymous.
I have been going there every six months for a number of years.
On my first visit I gave a Name and Date of Birth. (Not real) No ID required. Just remember them for future visits.
I was given a card with a reference number.
Now when I ring to make a booking I just give them my reference number.
Up until last year I answered questions from a Nurse before giving the Blood and Urine samples.
Now, you just answer questions on a computer. (You need the Date of Birth that you gave).
When you finish answering the questions, the Nurse comes to take the Blood and Urine samples.
I normally have early appointments. I have been in and out again in 15 minutes.
I have always found the staff to be very friendly and non judgemental.
Fortunately, I have always been clean.
I usually pick up some of the free Condoms and Lube to give to my regular WLs.
Recommended. YMMV. Ha Ha.

This is a red flag. What is to stop a disgruntled punter or rival shop
spreading nasty rumours to ruin a shop. I'm no doctor but I have
read STD's can remain dormant for months , even years. Who are
you to blame then if you have been a regular punter ?

Thanks, bro. When I was googling, I came across that site as well. The thing is, I don't want to wait for several days as I would be continuously haunted by the testing result. Maybe 1 day waiting is maximum to me ...

Hi, mate, could you be more specific about 'one I got it from Gladesville' ? is it 42 Gladesville ? I'm scared to read this line, as I'm a regular there. May I ask when and what did you get from there ?

Thanks to share your view and concern on the reputation and responsibility. Yet, I reckon Cmz is well-intentioned. To me, it sounds reasonable to do both - i.e. callback the shop to get the exact answer and post a warning here at the same time ...

Thanks, bro. Yet, by looking at its website, it clearly says 'Medicare is required' ... I certainly do not want to leave any 'footprint' in my personal or family medical record ...

Hi, Andrewshawn.
It's worth giving them a call to check if Medicare is now required.
I have never had to show it and I must have been there around 10 times in the past few years.
I am like you in regards to remaining anonymous and not leaving a trail.
When I was talking to one of the Male Nurses a while ago, he said that they want to make it easy for people to have the tests done.
It was in the communitie's interest that anyone who thinks that they may be infected should get tested.

Cheers.

Be aware, Once I went to the free public sexual health clinic in the city but since I had no signs or symptoms, was told by the doc they can't proceed even though I already filled out the form and waited in line. And was told to go to a GP instead for routine testing.

Just let your STI sterilize you and or kill you.......much better than leaving a mythical footprint. Heaven forbid if they ask you a question which helps them catergorize risk of infection percentages to further their knowledge in the task of firstly preventing such diseases and the curing thereafter! My God, the hide of them........

Yeah they used to test anyone but now you "have to have symptoms" to get tested.
I find that saying you have a burning sensation when you urinate is enough to get you through the door .

Thanks, mate, will give them a call for details ...

PS: this might be off the topic, yet, its website does say it could provide free hepatitis vaccination. Have you ever had that from there ?

You don't have to be scared about it because they just randomly visit any shops in Sydney. Not only Gladesville.
They provide free sexual education, free thick condom, lubes etc.,

No, I had Hepatitis vaccinations before due to my former work, so I did not require them.
I can't remember exactly, but this may be one of the questions that you answer on the computer before seeing a Nurse.
On all of my recent visits over the past 2 or 3 years, the Nurses have been Males.
Very friendly and Non Judgemental.
Hope this helps.

Welcome Brother Gav

Here are some pointers since i've been on the same page as you, condoms are 99.9% safe, however they only protect what they cover, there are 2 types of STDs, virus and bacteria.

Virus STDs are things like HIV, HPV, Herpes and Syphilis, bacteria STDs are things like gonorrhea, chlamydia and NGU. there are 2 methods of infection, one is from bacteria and visuses entering your urethra, the other method is from skin to skin rubbing. a condom will protect you from bacteria STDs and HIV and HPV for sure (99.9%) as long as none of the lady's juices touch you penis after you're done when ur taking out the condom. Technically the only thing you can get with a condom is HERPES because her skin touches urs when ur balls deep inside her, the chances are slim to none but as we all know shit happens. (i have been told by doctors that the skin rubbing must be pretty hard to get infected, also check to see that the WL doesn't have things that should've be there.

Now after scaring you i'll tell you the good news, it's very hard to catch anything using a condom (CBJ, CFS, also don't lick them without a dental dam). It really depends on how clean you wanna be and how lucky you are, some brothers have fucked half of asia and never got anything, some did it a few times and got something.
Remember you can cure everything BUT HERPES, HIV and HPV. so use a condom for sex and blowies and (THIS IS MY PERSONAL OPINION) don't DFK or DATY since you don't know how many dicks have been in there before the WL sees you, it's just common sense.

Also, go to decent establishments, all girls get checked regularly and they always use condoms, ask the girl if she does things without condoms, if she says yes, then go away, if she always uses condoms then pay and have fun, from experience most young girls use condoms, only the milfs out there might offer natural, which is a bit disgusting (whether u worry about stds or not).

And finally i'll leave u with this, it is safer to fuck a WL than fucking a random slut in a bar

Thanks, Cmz ... yet, what about Hepatitis ? does it fall into virus infection category ? I was being told that BBBJ is risky to have that shit ...

Well if you're vaccinated against HEP B you're safe, as for HEP C, well it is transmitted through sex, not 100% sure what the risk is from BBBJ, but as i said u can get a number of STDs from BBBJ, so i would say use a rubber for everything
