I went here a month and a half ago but only now am I going to put up my review as you will see why.
I saw this place was advertising again. I had been here a few times a couple of years back and since then I understand it has changed hands a few times. It used to be called Smiling Angels, then it was something else, not sure what it is now. I only ever really used this place to get waxing done and up until now. So I came in to get the usual Brazilian and butt-crack wax done and the place was under new management, mainly thai I believe. The girl given to me for the procedure was obviously new to it because she seemed to be having a hard time and had to yank very many times to get the wax off. It became rather painful, usually waxing is not painful for me but this was different. The older lady manager came in and saw what was going on and took over for a little bit showing the girl how to remove the wax in one stroke and demonstrating how to keep me erect during the process by stroking the penis every so often. It stretches the skin and makes removal easier. She let the younger woman resume and with a cheeky smile encouraged me to enjoy myself with a handjob from her when the waxing was over, then she left. The waxing was finished painfree and and using the soothing lotion for waxing she spent a couple of minutes giving me a handjob that was fine but not amazing. Unfortunately the damage was done by the time she had her technique correct and much of the area scabbed up badly, became red, I had to deal with ingrown hairs causing big red lumps all around. Now these are all things that can happen with waxing, but I have been getting it done for years and never had a problem until this experience and all this happened in the areas she had botched up. I don't want to be too harsh, she may have vastly improved by now and be excellent but as it is I am not willing to risk it to find out and I am not returning. I have decided to move away from waxing as a whole and stick with keeping things trim. It is not worth going through all that again. It took well over a month to heal up, during which time I avoided any punting whatsoever because I could only imagine being asked to leave the shop because it would make any lady think I had some horrible disease.
I don't like to be negative. But this happened and it was unfortunate and is worth keeping in mind if you are considering getting a wax here.
