Supply and demand. Less girls working during Xmas period = price goes up.

I've seen a few shops on here advertise discount during Xmas before. Customers go away or its harder to sneak away from partners when everyone is on holidays so less busy. They always have girls cause they don't have much to do as family is overseas.

Demand drops more than supply indeed.
And I don't think they will increase the price.

It will be business as usual for most shops over the festive season I think.

I did ask Vicky (QVB) this morning if she will close shop on Xmas day. Vicky said the girls on Sat and Sun will come to work anyway as they don't really have other things to do. As the shop dont have to pay them any wages . So no extra cost to the shop whether they work or not, so even if they only do a few jobs, it's still income for girls and shop.

The girl on Xmas day (Sunday) told Vicky that she will be sleeping in the shop during the day, if no business so be it, she will treat it as a break !

A few years ago, I was a free man alone in Sydney during Xmas time . There was this shop and this lady, I stayed until closing time, only her and me alone in the shop - we had a wonderful session - my best ever ! Absolute 5 Star services !
