Question, why do most girls in the shops have sour faces or avoid eye contact with us when you bump into them in the corridor or they walk past you in reception ?? Not even a smile or say hello even if they know you

Then....when they introduce themselves they are all sweetness and light.

Someone else just mentioned it in the after report section entitled Ice Queen

Because they are not allowed to approach clients in that ways. Normally they wait for their turns to get jobs. What if they smile to clients as a sign to seduce in order to get/steal that client from another girl when it's not their turns at that time. We hide, or avoid for that reason.

Thanks Babycat. Makes sense.

While I understand the logic behind it...why wouldn't you smile to passing customers I mean at the end of the day customer will choose anyway so it doesn't really matter if it's someones turn or not. Most people when they go somewhere already have a girl in mind they want to see i think. If anything I think if you see someone in the hallway make yourself presentable. I think this way it encourages repeat visit from people if all the passing girls smile at him also it creates a friendly atmosphere for the customer to be in. At the end of the day the I think friendly competition among staff would be a good thing it helps encourage them and pushes them to provide top level service.

Well said Caff. The sour faced treatment just reinforces the fact that we punters are just numbers and a bit more friendliness apart from just at the intro wouldn't go amiss.

There's no such thing as friendly competition. When it comes to their regulars, they are quite territorial about it. The girls can get emotional or bitchy if someone took their customer, and Mamasan wouldn't want that between the girls.

Territorial because they see us just as a $50 note or because they genuinely feel like we are their customers and they want to see us? I'd much prefer the later but at the end of the day we are punters we will see what fancies us will we not?

A secret smile, maybe. But I'm also afraid that it might make the client thinks that we expect him to go for us particularly that might create awkwardness if that time he wants to try another one. Also, we don't want to upset our colleagues. One time on the way I smiled to a guy then he asked to see me that made my colleague not happy at all. She said "stupid guy" when she left room that made me feel sorry for both.

Tough call. I know with WL's (can't comment on ML's as I don't visit) being a regular grants greatly enhanced service. This isn't because I'm particularly liked, but moreso because I can be counted on as a known source of income. A "you scratch my back I'll scratch yours" scenario.

Also, I wouldn't scorn a regular WL. I had one and decided to see a different girl that day. Regular found out, next time I saw her, zero extras, vanilla service, door slammed when I was leaving.

Very good point, especially in shops where there are some girls younger, prettier and with a few MILFs etc. the order of the turn is quite strictly adhered to. In general , us punters of course always like to see a line up but the shops will discourage it, if you don't have a booking, you are always show the girl who is next up, the shop/the next up girl may even lie that all the girls are busy and it's her or nothing . I don't like this either but it's just the way many shops operate in order to get some jobs for those not too popular mls !

Well, I don't have a solution to it but knowing some mamasans who would always show the customers more girls or new girls either at the start or on the way out for future reference - that's a much better customer service and also shows that the shop is confident with their team and a good way to entice more repeats and should be encouraged .

Cheers

The way I see it is that the girls don't want to get too friendly with customers unless they see some potential ($$$) and regular visits. They are working and providing a paid service. This is their job. They are not there to chat and flirt with customers in the corridor whilst in the presence of their bosses or other girls. Having said this, if a girl did smile or just said 'hello' it would make me inquire about her and lead me to make a booking to see her on the next visit to the shop if she measured up to my expectations.

They don't have to smile or say hello to me either ! If she has a big pair, I'll find her next time......... haha

Happened to me a few times in the depths of Sussex Star. Really off-putting, like you're not giving them money, so no looking allowed.

A smile would have made me much more likely to go back there.

There has been a number of valid inputs made by our fellow punters but I still cannot understand how sharing a friendly smile or a simple hello will make it unfair for the working ladies or for the shop. I feel it is tough nowadays to get a good line up and it is easier and convenient to ask the name of the lady who smiles at you rather than the opposite. It can be contradicting at times where u see a nice lady but because of her first impression of not smiling, u will be hesitant to choose her knowingly that she might provide the same unimpressive service. I for one find it hard to choose a lady and had to play Russian roulette at times or just walk out and go to another shop or going with the after report. I do hope that the shop can encourage their ladies to smile more often. Like the saying goes, a lady smiles make the heart fonder.
