Vietnam has just recently added into this subclass. Now our beloved VN WL/ML will come just like Koreans and Japanese that we have enjoyed so far.

fantastic news.. always a shortage of Viet girls in Sydney. Hopefully in a few months we'll see some evidence of this new policy.

Just read in the SMH about Brazilian student numbers are growing rapidly too. Great to see our tertiary education sector doing enough to attract more and more O/S students...

Japan, South Korea, Canada and most Western European nations apply for a 417 Working Holiday visa.
It allows for 12 months stay
Vietnam has been added to a list of Working Holiday Visa 462.
The 462 one has some extra requirements applicants have to meet.
The 417 is given more easily.

Cool . Ta rooter.
6 months is too short for a working holiday. By the time you have a place to stay sorted your visa has expired.
Whats the point
Strange in my book

The Koreans love going to the States to make their money. The reward here isn't as good. Although there has been recent crackdowns so the tide might turn.

The first requirement for a working holiday visa is that the applicant must be under 30yo, which is ideal for us ! ;) ;) ;)
Now the problem is with their home countries, like Vietnam, the applicant needs to deposit a large sum of money as surety to their government for the passport to be granted.

Any comments on what the caucs are like over there compared to here, specifically in the punting scene and not societal.

Wouldn't it be similar to Aus as both are pretty much developed nations? Maybe just more in numbers since they have a bigger population.
The caucs in Eastern European countries though I hear are out of this world good. Need to go to Cech republic at least once in my life to taste the punting scene there for myself.
