So, contracting stds from bbbj.
Now I realise this topic seems to hit a nerve with some. And I can just hear the replies now, here we go again, ask a doc etc. But here is the thing, if you search through threads, it's mainly freaked out guys that have just had their first experience (bbbj or similar) and ask, what should I do? Well yes, go to the doc and stop posting on forums for advice. Other topics might be bros accusing a wl of giving him something, again, not the best way to deal with the situation as it would be hard to prove etc.
If a bro were to ask a doc, then they would get the medical opinion of the risk, yes its possible to contract this and this. They might even say contraction from bbbj is rare (a different doc could answer the same question as common) Even then it's hard to gauge how rare or how common. So I thought it be good to get some real opinions from bros that are on the front line. who better to ask?
Now I stress that I don't think it's important to say who gave you what and where. I'm just curious as to how many guys have caught something from bbbj over the years. Particularly the silent ones that could have no symptoms, clamydia or ghonnorea. And I know that it could all be down to chance or bad luck, but if you have caught something, was it like, yeh I caught something back in 92 but nothing since and been getting bbbj weekly. Or more like I caught chlamydia the 4th time i got bbbj.
I hope this post does not get flamed. And I'm not trying to hurt business. If a bro wants bbbj then I'm sure he will still seek out bbbj. Just curious as a sample space of 1 (me) is not enough.
And yes I changed my profile in case I was banned and sent to forum jail.

I'll post a reply to your 'poll' question, if you post your stats first :)

Yes of course. I used to opt for cbj but with bbbj being so frequently offered I go for that. Probably had around 1 a month for last yr. Not had any problems. Get checked regularly..

Hi Bbbjquestion,

It is a sensitive question. Just as a disclosure, I have been previously banned by this forum for raising a similar issue.
Let us not speculate on the forum's position on this issue.
My personal view is that it is extremely important to disclose the risks associated with various sex acts. Also, I believe if it is beyond reasonable doubt that a certain WL you visited has an STI, then it is important to tell the shop owner and other brothers immediately. I stress beyond reasonable doubt.

To answer you question, the probability of acquiring an STI, such as clamydia and 'ghonnorea' (can't spell it) is not that high if you get 1 single BBBJ. However, if you frequently engage in these activities, I'd say the probability of getting these 'common' STIs are extremely high. In a study done in Great Britain, approximately 10% of all working girls had clamydia of the throat. So there's a substantial risk in getting a BBBJ.

It generally takes a week to "find out" you have an STI, so if you have a girlfriend or a wife, it is not advised that you ask for BBBJ.
I've been punting for 4 years, and i've contracted STI twice from BBBJ, once in Sydney. Now I limit this activity considerably.

I understand the risk of clamydia from BBBJ is extremely high. I understand that the risk of Gonorrhea is lower for BBBJ than unprotected sex, and gonorrhea is also rare in the heterosexual community, but I have heard from shop owners of a few punters getting gonorrhea from BBBJ. Herpes is also extremely common as is HPV and I have read studies that suggest that close to 100% of working girls have both herpes and HPV although they may be a-symptomatic and have no idea they have it. The problem is that even a condom can't protect against herpes and HPV because any skin to skin contact can pass it on. Herpes is the most devastating of all STDs (short of HIV). I guess it's just a risk we all assume.

Interesting further fact: a girl brand new to the industry (in her first 14 days, and first 30 punts) is the most contagious of all working girls. Girls in their first few days on the job start catching all sorts of STDs.

Gonorrhea is NOT rare in the heterosexual community, LongJohnSilver. I don't know where you get your information from. Gonorrhea of the throat is rare among heterosexual men. It is the second most commonly reported infectious disease.

It is so common in the porn industry they call it 'the flu'.
