2049: The Rise of the Sex Bots

Year 2049. The most irresistable proportions, the most beautiful face and a smile that lit up the whole room. The light that burns twice as bright burns half as long and she has burned very very brightly. What an experience - more human than human is how I would describe it. It's too bad she won't live, but then again who does?

What do you guys think the sex industry will be like 30 years from now? Automated sex dolls taking over the role of WL's? Tweaked with machine learning algorithms to perfect the art of sex and maximise pleasure?

1. Sex bot would be OH sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooo expensive. to buy and maintain for the shops
2. Weight. How heavy would these bots Be?? with all that metal battery, computer and silicon.
3. Can you bang it around?? how well can it take a beating?
4. How do you clean such a machine between clients
5. how do you mimic the feel of human vagina mouth and anus? and would people pay the premium for it?
6. The ai has to past Turing test. As a lot of punters go for the physical and GFE (or connect with the WL) which requires some form of conciousness. banging and inanimate object would detract from that experience i'd imagine.
7. I don't think technology will advance that fast. think of the technological advances from 90's to now. and that's with moores law on their side which has now pretty much stopped.
we have a few computers and fancy computer phones. and way more connected. But other than that. our technologies hasn't improved THAT much.

1. More expensive than it costs to hire a WL? Say WL get paid $200/hr, 7 customers a day, 5 days a week, that's $336k a year (cash in hand) - yes three years working and you can purchase a house in Sydney outright, no mortgage. They're not cheap to hire.

2. How heavy is your laptop or smartphone? Sure, a sex bot will be bigger in size but the point is, it doesn't need to be that heavy for it to function. It can probably simulate the weight of a WL.

3. Let's assume there are rules around "banging it around", and the rules are similar to being rough to WL - not acceptable. People go to a brothel to fuck, not to put their boxing skills to the test.

4. Presumably same as cleaning a fleshlight.

5. This has been done already and even now it seems fairly realistic, I've seen it in a video somewhere.

6. It won't be an inanimate object - let's assume it will be able to speak and dirty talk realistically to a basic-to-intermediate level. Some top WLs in the industry don't know how to speak English but are still great at what they do.

7. Debatable - from the perspective of a layman, technology advances in step-jumps. In 1878, there was no such thing as the lightbulb, people didn't even know what such a thing was. In 1879, the lightbulb was there. It is also becoming highly unpredictable what technology can or can't do and when. So it's a possibility and I wouldn't say an unlikely one either.

Very creative post. I go a step further and predict that in 2049 we can implant USB into our brains. Uploaded information would tell our eyes that the lady in front of us is the most beautiful lady in the world, (or the prettiest one of our exes), and give us the vocabulary to charm any lady
