For cracker/backpage use Google Chrome browser. Whenever you see an ad you are interested in, open the large picture, then right click on the image and it will say "search for the image" or "google search for the image". google will look for the image. It often works even with the face obscured or with other text on it.

Apart from clothing pictures, the other major source of fake photos is from instagram or chinese social media.

This is 150% fake.

I reckon 90% of the ads there are fake.

Only if it doesn't return any specific example of the photo (do it for all the photos provided, as fake ads often use multiple fake sources), or only returns other advertisments from similar sites would I even think it wouldn't be fake.
