Asian massage shops ripping us all off.

Guys this really bugged me the other day i went to a massage shop in Kangaroo Point I won't name it yet but when I phoned up I was told $80 for 1hr and happy enclusion. Well when I thought it was time to get into the fun part this little girl who I believe was Thai explained it cost extra. I'm truly dis to be lured into this situation does this happen much?:fire:

When she left the room while I was getting dressed, she went and got my change for the massage part and pocketed it. I asked for my change. She said she was keeping it.

Never been back to that shop.

Because of her greed, she and the shop missed out on my repeat business. Thus they ended up losing $$$ in the long term.

This is terrible feedback we really need to avoid these establishments and support our local girls these illegal Asian workers are making it harder for other girls who are working legit trying to earn a wage.

Explained I only had $50 for extras, but she was trying to upsell to $100, and again explained I only had $50.

At the end of it all, there were two of them standing in the door of the room stopping me from leaving, one of them holding the EFTPOS machine out to get another $50

I did the "tap and go", and then they let me go!

Did u only do the $50 option? If so why would they demand u pay more if no other extra was provided? Ive had girls hit me up for more in the room afterwards but never stop me from leaving. If your in the right here id b giving them a mention.

I believe that most of them include a happy conclusion into the price but lots of these girls are getting paid nex to nothing by the managers of these shops so they need to try for some extra cash. Quite sad if you ask me.

As a seasoned punter I do believe this sort of thing has been on the increase lately. I believe the reason is twofold.

With the boom in the number of new massage shops, some are now finding it a lot quieter. Thus when they do get some customers they try to get as much off them as they can.

One ML at a very well know shop with great services was telling me recently that she started at 9.30am. I was her first customer for the day and it was 1.30pm. It was a weekend too.

Secondly - chatting to make conversation with new MLs at regular shops. I ask usually them if they are here studying english. I notice many recently have said no - they just here for the work on a 2 month tourist visa. So just here to make as much as they can and then go. Bet this is why they rip you off as they will be gone real soon.

I wonder if the shop owners know this is going on.
