I've had a bit of luck hooking up with tourists to Sydney who are looking for some action - wondering if anybody else is getting amongst this.

I like Southern Kyushu.
Near Kirishima the have a shochu factory with free samples. Free shochu!! And you can get Kuro Kirishima from the factory. Oishi!!
Lots of awesome onsen too. There is one near Sakurajima that is right on the ocean. Crazy shit. Jump in the ocean, the next to it is a hot onsen. Fucking awesome.

My first work trip (which lasted 12 months) in Japan, I actually moved in with a girl, nearly married her, but something she said one night went click, she really only wanted to get married to move to Australia and take her parents out.

Bro, I reccomend Miyazaki.
I lived there for abit.
They have a domestic airport, and an international (but only flights to Korea and Taiwan).
Far away from everything, yet still has abit of nightlife.
Plenty of jobs as an English teacher.
Judori chicken, oh my God chicken nanban, great food everywhere (one very popular udon shop you can buy udon for 2.50).

You only need to travel 15 minutes from the middle of the city, and there will be rice fields. Being close to farms , the produce selection is unreal.
I could go on to talk about a million different places and things to do.

Fuck I miss that place.
