Goes without saying that the op is way out of line suggesting this.

I have had WLs on my legit social media before, real names, real profiles. In the end i decided it was not a great idea. I can talk to them through other means, Wechat setup for punting, whatsapp and plain old SMS. I would always get paranoid when they would like or comment on any of my photos or status updates. Would potentially have to come up with some story if i got asked 'who's this person' etc etc.

I also think that you are compromising your own anonymity if their prvacy settings aren't set up right. There are some very dumb social media users. It was a WL's birthday one time, she had a profile with her real name and a punter posted on her timeline, wishing her a happy birthday but calling her by her shop name!
