I am going out with an ML on a lunch date. We have been chatting in WeChat for a while. There’s mutual attraction, and I am pretty confident that sex would happen. We have been seeing each other in the shop for some time now and every time, she ends up super wet and we DFK a lot. Have a look at the app Dayuse. You can find hotels to book rooms for short periods (3 - 5 hours), usually middle of the day but some also offer evening bookings.

Hotel Tonight can find discounted overnight rooms at short notice.

How much is too much?

Marriot Circular Quay Spa Suite - $420 a night. Obviously this one isn't at Central Station, but it is at Circular Quay station.
Hilton CBD Relaxation Suite - $750 a night - This is near Town Hall.

If those are too much then just pick any of the dozen hotels in the CBD that are in your price range on a booking website.

Also don't leave that night, you paid for the overnight you might as well take it.

To the OP, make sure you do NOT go to the short stay hotel on Pitt St. It's a shithole, she will not be impressed. Better pay more for a proper hotel, like the Ibis next door to it. Average about $220 per night.
Also, a bit more rundown but still acceptable is the hotel that is attached to Capitol Square. It's older, and a bit too close to ground level (privacy not so good, but they have thick curtains), but has bigger rooms and slightly cheaper than Ibis.

Even if I didn't have a partner at home, I would probably not want the ML to know where/how I live.

Last time I went there there was only 1 towel and there was no soap or toilet paper, so I kept having to run to reception wrapped in a towel to get these things. This is definitely a low class establishment, aka. shithole!

On the other hand, if you are in a serious relationship where you are her boyfriend and she is your girlfriend then it will be different. As for hotels where you don't want to spend too much, there are many located close to Central Station eg Metro, Capitol, 57, Travelodge or Great Southern. When they are not busy, their rates drop and are cheap for the whole night.
