So far I've saved just under two and a half grand during lockdown. Luckily still working. I think I might go on a non stop binge once everything is back to normal. I've already planned my trip around Asia in Brisbane.
In the meantime I see my "friend" a couple of times a week or so to go shopping, share a homecooked meal and stay overnight. Apart from buying the groceries there is no other financial outlay. She's treating me more like bf, which is both good and bad. Funnily enough, i used to see her housemate first, but she was sightseeing when I returned to the shop, and luckily I met my new friend instead. Both were new to the business and Australia and had been in Oz for less than two months.
Awkward to begin with as they both knew my technique and it dawned on them that I was the same customer they had talked to each other about (had a major haircut between seeing them initially and I used to see one weekdays after work in my suit whereas the other was on weekends in casual clothes, hence the desription was off).
We all hang out but I only "see" one.
During Easter weekend I ran into a couple of MLs from another shop when picking up takeaway in Sunnybank. Reaaallly awkward as one of them recognised me instantly and gave me hug and cheeky kiss. My friend knew they were her competition and after teasing me about being a player, she later made sure I would forget them and always remember her. I stayed over three nights in a row before going home and to work. My colleagues said I looked more tired after the long weekend than before. I told them I was busy renovating, nailing stuff and filling every hole and gap.
Closed shops can be more fun.

Ok stop boasting lol...lucky you...quite frankly I just find this whole COVID19 a frustration. It will be over sooner than you think but what effect will it have on our industry esp supply from overseas countries?
But luckily there will always be cute young girls and horny old guys and the need for an income.
Isn't it always the way at Sunnybank you see the cutest Asian girls when shopping with your partner. I always have my bananas facing up.
