I know you can attack me for being the biggest fan of Yamady, so dont waste your time doing that.

Can we think of a way to make this better to save the forum's integrity?

When I logged on at around 6 this morning it was even worse than your mix:
- 32 shop posts - spammed by Yamada and Myoutcall with a couple from 5 Star
- 8 member posts !!

I have been to Yamada, Myoutcall and 5 Star.
1) Yamada - yes funny guy and girls are OK - but now as soon as log in and see the stream of Yamada posts honestly my eyes just glaze over ... and scroll down fast mode !!
Plus plethora of posts only equalled by lack of real information:
- no detailed description
- no photos or link to website with descriptions and photos aka Myoutcall - and don't say just ring or email for photos - yes he has replied twice but over the last few months ignored my emails over 8 times - and I can see from others I am not alone here !!
Throttle back Yamada as you are building a lot of negative equity if you ask me.

2) Myoutcall - yes always posted advert and reposted AR
- But they at least had the interest of going to their site and eyeballing the girls and seeing the roster.
- in the past it was not over the top.
- Now - yes girls quality has picked up but joined Yamada san in spam like frequency - Myoutcall - don't ever think that emulating Yamada approach it the way to go - for me - it is Not !

3) 5 Star -Yes always repost AR and advertise - but I accept advertising - yes Yamada even from you.
- The 5 Star frequency I think is acceptable although at times near the top end of my tolerance.
- Photos where possible of the top girls/ PH.
- Keep doing what you have - don't accelerate the postings to follow others and you will have my interest without causing the TMC Glazed Over Eye effect on me.

Yes - Intelligent suggestion.
Both Yamada and now MOC raise posts for girls that are not even rostered on.

I potentially would miss what little information Yamada provides (and I only use him as the example because he more than most illustrates the growing problem) because when confronted with a mass of red Yamada posts I just scroll immediately through with little engagement !!

That is the problem - the advertiser wants to "engage" his or hers potential clients (and therefore income) but it is a delicate balance of turning people off and it actually being a negative!
In mainstream advertising many have learnt this lesson the hard way.

Sadly - although it may be partly lost in translation - Yamada above responds in either tongue in cheek humour ... Or a rejection of the issue punctuated by hijacking this post thread as well !!!

In advertising as in most aspects - perception is reality - and the perception I gained from Yamada's comments above is to be totally dismissive of what was a useful contribution by Max and basically say - get stuffed I will do what I want !!
He is of course free to do that -
-as we are free to take our business to those who provide services we can find value, attitude & affinity for.

I basically just skip whatever post with shop owner's name on it, and read the punters', it's not hard to click " next page" anyway:) we can't control what the owners are doing here as they are paid customers @.@ but but we could at least decide what we are going to read here :)

Yeah it's a bugbear of mine. Just too much advertising by shops, digging up months old posts/reviews then whacking a "on today" to bump it. There's a roster section, keep it there. Maybe a limit on the 'ads' per day, and maybe keep the review section ad free.

Don't get me wrong, I love to frequent Yamada"s business. He has fresh Japanese talent coming all the time.

It's now the norm for the more active agencies/shops to try and get as many threads in the front page as possible.

If they didn't bump the reviews, you would have to search for it once working out which girls were on in the roster section.

I guess there should be a limit of one bump per girl, or a new section for currently available girls' reviews to be bumped too?

+1 for me on this. Like many of the other responses here, I don't even bother to look at a post that has been bumped up on the AR if it has been bumped up by the shop. And in the general talk forum I dont look at the shops advertising posts cause most of it's a waste of my time. To my eyes it seems Ginza is the only one doing things fairly and not spamming the board. Wilson puts one thread up in general talk announcing a new girl, then he doesn't feel the need to splash her name, and that of every other girl working that day all over the forum. Thats the way it should be done. Perhaps if shops weren't spamming all over the place, people might be bothered to make more comments and reviews on girls. Theses days, if a new review of a girl goes up it's lost 3 pages down the forum within a day or two. Time for Admin to sort it all out?!

Max I wish to thank you for doing the numbers, Its really a bug bear for me. I went back to find some of my older posts on this topic but they have been deleted. I emailed admin as to why the deletion occurred. No response at all. I asked for it back never to be reposted... No response or acknowledgement. The thread was one u started about Tiger (I think u started it), I had a real go at you and Yamamda, pretty funny I thought.

So at the end of the day, its up to the advertisers to realise that so many independent punters cant stand the bumps, and dont even open them or read them. These punters are really prolific sex for money guys, so why piss them off. Who has been to TMC or Anywhere due to bumps, I WOULD SAY FEW IF ANY. ON the other hand WHO HAS BOOKED A GIRL AFTER READING Gucci's review...or thought if she can swallow Mr7, then I might give her a go and see if she can take the extra 2 inches....The 5 Star reviews convinced me to spend up and pop in a couple of times, there are many other examples. Ginza has gone to one of the great establishments in a relatively short time and Wilson doesn't even post in the AR. SO much more activity is created by girls giving good service and punters sharing on the forum than bump ups..... For Fucks sake, ban them. The reason you were one of those singled out yamada is that when this thread was started you and moc had bombed the ar section. No you guys aren't Robinson Crusoe in that, but don't miss the point. Advertisers may pay the bills but without punters there is no customer base to advertise to.
When I look in the rosters section I expect shops to 'sell' their business. (Mind you, shops who keep advertising in the rosters section without actually showing a roster pisses me off too, another story though), but general talk and particularly ar section really are inappropriate places to bombard with endless spruiking. Ar is a place we go to read another's experience, preferably recent. Fishing through 2-3 pages of bumped reviews is not what we sign up for I dare suggest, and starts to render the idea of an ar section pointless. Why post a review on the off chance someone may read it on page 3 after the shops have been on?

Yamada. You are a good guy and have top class product. I know because I am your customer. You get good free advertising from customer reports. Adding your adverts devalues the report and makes it too cumbersome to read. Use the roster for advertising and put links to to each girl's after reports in the roster next to her name. You can update the roster every half hour if you feel you have to.

No one in this thread want's to ban the shops from posting. They are being asked to post in the correct section.

Well, i still need 1 or 2 days to make change by letting multiple threads drop down to pages themselves meanwhile keeping ONLY important info/quick news/AD on Time at general section. (For After report section, everybody could see that i've already done good action days ago by creating "MyOutCall.COM Good review collection" thread just trying to make sure everybody would be comfortable & easily search for MOC gals' reviews on the top! Gees I'm off the forum a couple of days and I miss this thread unfold. I knew something had changed when I logged in today and the first page wasn't filled with pages bumped by advertisers :)

Can only be a good thing as it was getting out of control. I must admit I was one of the punters that just scrolled past anything whose last post was a shop. The bumping thing isn't my main annoyance though. What sometimes find tiresome is threads that I read looking for honest punter reviews being filled with questionable looking reviews or being spammed by members with their own agendas pushing their favourite shops.

Slarty, I don't think anyone here writes questionable reviews. How often does someone challenge a review? It's rare and often others chime in to backup the reviewers point of view. An untruthful reviewer would last long here.

Of course we may all sometimes get overly enthusiastic about our favourite shops and bump them up a bit. At least that's just the actions of satisfied customers.

Great maturity showed by MOC,I hope punters reward them by giving business,their re-posts have vanished from the AR forum.
It would be great if admin gave the shops the ability to have a ongoing thread at the top of the AR, so they are able to link reviews & rave about a girl,without pushing all the genuine new reviews off the page.

Perhaps there is a need for a feature that the forum developers can add: Have an ignore list for a forum section, and also honour the list in terms of displaying the latest thread posts. So you could have a setting that says ignore <spamPosterX> in section AR for example. Then you wouldn't see any thread activity if <spamPosterX> bumped the thread. This would help alot for the "What's New"/"New Posts" links as well.

Yeah I noticed that too. Some of the bumped threads are quite old too. If we're not careful the forum will end up shop owners and a small group of interested parties all talking to themselves. :)

Sounds a little bit like the HL forum. Which has been quite shit for a while now imho. I hope this place isn't on it's way down that path. I haven't looked at the AR's yet today, I bet there's maybe only one or 2 that I'll read. When I logged into the Gerneral Talk section there are at least 21 threads that are advertising or bumped up threads promoting shops and girls. It's not really general talk is it. I'd hapily post more reviews, but I'm in a financial hole at the moment, so unfortunately my punting has unfortunately stopped in this country.

I remeber the days when it was almost impossible to get a shop to post a roster up online or to find out who was on unless you actually called or visited a shop. I agree, somewhere in between will be great!! We all hated it when there is No information, but we don't want to be flooded with too much and repeated information either.

The forum cannot survive without the advertisers, the members and guests are getting everything for free, we should respect the people who are paying the fees so that we can keep this forum going. There are rooms for 40 threads in each of the front page of General Talks and After Report, I don't have any issue if any one shop like Ginza or Foxy or SL all have a dedicated thread for the shop to post or update info or do whatever with their thread - but I guess one thread per shop will be good.

Then at least we can view stuffs from 40 different shops with info or reviews or general topics. that way it will be a fair game. The key is you are not taking too much room on the front page so that the other shops can not get in.

If other members want to start a new thread on any shop or bring back an old thread because he wants to add something new to it, then he should be free to do so, afterall, this is a free for all forum. If the thread is popular and generated a lot of posts, it will stay on the front page, otherwise, it will fade away very quickly.

This is not gonna work, if you want to write something where only 10% of the visitors to this site can read, then by all means!!

The no. of visiting guests always outnumbered registered member about 4/5 to 1, I think when the forum with its peak visitation of 500+, only around 100 were members, well over 400+ were guests, and out of the 100 members, great majority of them were baby members who have no access to the private section, so you do the sum. You want to write for 50 people or rather 500 people can share your thoughts. its a no brainer.

Personally it gives me the shits seeing the useless bumps. There is probably a happy medium that could be reached but in the end it's the admins decision.

I use this forum because I find the information I find here the most useful compared to others. But like Wilisno said I ain't gonna punish advertisers for doing this. It's my loss not theirs..
That said why can't admin keep advertisers to General and Roster sections. You can post links to AR in Roster updates..

In order not to upset the advertisers, may be the Admin can trial something:

Keep the current General Talk, After Report, Private Massage and Shop Rosters sections as they are so everybody is happy especially the shops.

Create a members posting only section (everyone can view this section but shop owners are excluded from posting!) Without the Shop Owners posting, members should be happy and no more complaints about seeing 6 threads from yamada, 5 from MOC, 4 from TP 64, 3 from Ginza, 2 from 5 Star and 1 each from everyone else.

The only problem is, you can restrict the shop owner from posting in this section, but as the number of views and responses from this section skyrocketed and other sections goes quiet !! You can't control people registering new user names such as a sir yamada, MOC II, TP 64.1 and Ginzaboy etc. So there you go. Back to square 1.

Just my two cents, there must be other smart people who has a better solution,

As I've also said many times before, if there is such a need, I'm sure Admin will introduced new sections like The Private Massage Report.

I reckon the amount of money being spent punting by forum readers is fairly constant on average.
So the spamming advertisers are trying to increase their share from us.
Each of them will try to do this in their own way, using one or more techiniques, Eg:
- provide up to date roster info
- give good info about their girls: size, dimensions, services, etc
- provide pictures
- encourage punters to write reports
- spam
- others ...

Spamming appears to be the low cost shortcut way to try to increase market share, since you are not really adding any value or doing any "work" as such.
But does it work ?

I think once a punter has frequented a place a few times they will form an opinion about whether that place is worth visiting for various reasons:
- easy to contact and organise a time/lady
- keeping bookings
- truthfullness of info and pictures
- quality of ladies
- services actually offered
- value for money
- location
- others ...

I think most/all of us repeat punters ignore the spam as best we can and dont' even read it, so it's pointless in the main.
I think spam may only work to attract interest from first time customers to a shop, however the more savy potential punters will be
looking at the rosters and girl details and then reading any real AR's and base their decision on this.
If spam does attract interest then the points above about increasing market share come into play.
The only reason I can see spam working then is to attract mug punters.

If I was running a shop I would provide rolling daily updates to my roster thread, in the roster section looking forward a few days, and also details/pictures of the girls etc, either via weblink or in the actual post. (Via a weblink would be better as it's not just forum readers who will potentially see it). I would provide quality girls at a good price and then I would expect good ARs.

If I had low quality girls and was not offering good value then I would rely on spamming to get a constant stream of first timers to my shop.
So if a shop had high quality girls and offered good value it doesn't make sense to spam, it won't increase business, it is actually bad for business because you will annoy people.

The fact is, you might have read ten good reports and have ten good girls in mind for your next punt, there's a good chance that the first name that comes into your mind at the right time will get the booking, the right time is the time when you're horny and want to punt !

Those who complain are mainly non-customers of those shops, that's why they ( those shop owners who like bumping threads ) don't care less If their business suffers because of this, I don't think they will continue doing so !

Those that are bumping already have established client's and there is no real need for it. Threads from the offending colours for me are skipped when I read here (which I enjoy).

If you talk about a decline in After Reports, it happens everywhere, as someone mentioned a month or so ago that's what happened at Auxxxreviews, and Sydney99 has gained an average of 100 users in peak hours since.

One more thing, the quality of reports have improved tremendously over the last 2 year, from factual stattistical reports to detailed and entertaining reports with feelings and we love to spend time reading, so this site is on the right track !

The updated threads definitely slowed down for around a week.
But they are slowly getting back to previous levels.
The thing is as soon as one shop does it then the others do as well to keep up.
So the truce never holds.
I think we just have to get used to it happening
As I said earlier it's a cheap and effective way for the shops to reach new customers so of course they will keep on doing it.
We have to accept the fact that they are running a business and they use this forum as a means of promoting their business and reaching new customers.

My after reports take me a lot of time so sometimes it's easier not to write them than cop the flack. What I do like is that one of my AR's of Tiffany SF has over 3500 views.

That's another problem the site Admin has to stamp out, the cynical comments and attacks against reviewers ! Usually those who complain don't write reports themselves !

Not sure if you can understand text, did you understand what is meant by 10-15 at a time ? Several times a day ? Do a calculation, that would become 50-60 a day, not just over 10 !!!

I had a post deleted, not in this thread though. It was a couple of weeks ago in a thread calling someone a troll. Made it look like the views of all posters in that thread were unanimous (apart from the alleged troll of course :))- which wasn't the case.

Yeah, I've had some posts deleted. Some were my reports on Sally and Crystal from Styles. It was actually Styles admin accidentally deleting them so I stopped writing AR's on ther girls. Another time it was because I had put some info in there when I was pissed off.

Yamada's posts are honest, funny and there is a lot of truth to them. (I've put in bold the comments I mean.)

It's not surprising given forum rule no 1. Rules 2 and 3 are enforced occasionally, perhaps with rule no 1 in mind :) Something to take into account while posting here. Agree it can put you off contributing in some threads.
