Earlier today there was a review about a ML who shall go unnamed.
Said ML seems to dislike being reviewed or talked about in this forum and apparently had the thread taken down already.
Given that this is a forum the main purpose of which is reviewing massage shops, MLs, etc, given further that nobody in this industry uses real names and that nothing described in the review was unusual or illegal, what would be the basis of such removal requests and why would mods comply?

Warning about bad providers, shady operators or rip off merchants seems fair game
But good providers, who are friendly and nice people. Cut them some slack where warranted.
There are way too many anonymous people reading these threads who use information written here and make lives miserable.

I did not see anything in the review this morning that would have stood out as unfair, defaming or otherwise different from 100s of similar reviews here.
What is so special about this particular provider that she can't be talked about here, while everybody else seems fair game?
Must be hard for shop owners (particularly of legit therapeutic/remedial massage) to have reviews of some of their staff conducting business beyond the scope. Not only here but more prominent places like google reviews etc.
There was definitely a few things in that review that crossed the line to the point I was questioning if it was even real or just an attempt to get her harassed. I think it’s pretty obvious by now she doesn’t want to be mentioned here, no need to keep pushing it. No means noQuote:

I can live with the concept of not writing reviews if MLs don't want or appreciate it, and I myself hardly ever write reviews in public threads for that very reason.
All the same, I am just wondering why everyone here seems so protective of one particular MLs who gets posts or threads taken down as soon as her pseudonym gets mentioned, regardless of what was written, whilst on the other hand is ok with reviews of pretty much anyone else, and on top of that, forum members who don't post reviews get attacked on a regular basis. So what is it, gents? Can't have the cake and eat it, too.
I am furthermore wondering why the admins or mods entertain removal requests just on the basis that someone was mentioned who didn't want to be mentioned. Seems a bit counterproductive for a review site.
And finally, nobody would ever accuse Acqua of being a legit shop. Everybody knows that whoever works there provides sexual services to some degree.

So I assume some of these workers have guys who know they work at these places, but probably don't know exactly what they are doing like rim guys holes all day, before getting home and kissing them etc.....
I can see from that perspective why they don't want in detail written up online what they are doing, probably mostly stuff they tell clueless partners they aren't doing.

Nothing from actual ml’s for a long time. The last I can remember is probably when p herself posted on here asking for stuff to be deleted months ago

I knew the ML named would be fuming when she read it and so she should. The bloke was a complete d***head and that post would have caused all sorts of issues that she shouldn’t have to deal with

I didn't see this review that was deleted. But saw a post on the Acqua thread which got the whole thread deleted. These stupid idiots who make such posts need to think first and not pander to their own ego.
Regarding the OP, anti doxing laws are I think in play now (or soon will be). It doesn't have to name the person involved, but if enough information is supplied to identify a person, that's sufficient for the law to come into play.
Providing such identifying features is just plain stupid. I know the Acqua one used real info and not the ad details. I would suggest that such things are not done for the persons benefit but to cause mischief. Appears this review was the same.
Wonder if it was the same member?
What benefit does doing these things benefit us if it drives the person away?
I've done up something on PP addressing this aspect (Casual Venues GDT). There were some guys resistant to this but was carefully explained to the reasoning with examples provided. I think it's ok to link this here:

Its important guys think about impacts where information could damage a person. Especially where it's sometimes better to not say anything. To protect their privacy and to maintain information on here (e.g. loss of Acqua thread).
To the previous posters who understand the issues that could result of such stupid posts, good on you.
I recall getting a DM from that lady many months ago and I think I updated whatever it was. But scrolling through the post history of the login she was using was interesting. From memory the profile had about half the posts as a punter, and reading with my skeptical brain it did seem like a legit punter had that profile at some point.
so who's going to start the new acqua thread? I thought it was one of the better threads with not too many posts by shop owners pretending to be punters
