ML borrowed few K and disappeared /blocked me

Just wondering if anyone else here has had a similar experience.

A few years ago, a ML, I’d been seeing borrowed a few K from me. She gave me a sob story, and I fell for it - admittedly thinking more with my dick than my head. I transferred the money, and not long after she came back from overseas, she blocked me and disappeared without repaying a cent.

Recently, one of my regular MLs told me that the same woman apparently scammed another client out of around $50,000 - same MO, a few dates and meetings outside and then blocked after getting money.

Back when we were seeing each other, she got pregnant (not by me) and told me the father had bailed. I felt sorry for her and stayed involved longer than I should have. Eventually, she hit me with another emotional story about her family being in trouble overseas. So I transferred money and then she blocked me not long after she came back from overseas.

I know I was naive, and I take responsibility for getting sucked in. But I’m curious - has anyone else here crossed paths with this woman or been through something similar?

She was Vietnamese and used to be regularly reviewed on here.

My regular ML said she is going tell the other punter that got conned by her as well. I really want to do something about it - I forgot about it for awhile but so angry now that I got told that there is others out there.

Which shop? Did you tell the shop manager?

1. Unless there is evidence then it’s just slander. And potentially trouble for the forum for allowing it

2. If there is evidence then it’s a police matter

3. WL names are irrelevant. They change them all the time. Yumi one year at avenue is different to a girl with the same next year. They are all recycled names and always fake.

I didn't tell anyone, as we started meeting outside of the shops a few times over extended period so no longer shop issue

She was Vietnamese

That was an expensive lesson in keeping it all business. Punters who get too close (friendship) and see ML/WL outside the shops are opening themselves to getting ripped off.

How many times over how many years have we all talked about keeping the sessions limited to getting what you pay for, and nothing else.

The money lent will never be recovered. There is no written record of it. If caught, the woman will say it was a gift.

Case closed except for regrets.

If WL names are fake why does it matter if OP is potentially slandering LMAO it's not like we know their real names or addresses. Some random ho is not going to go through the courts for a payday when they're likely on an expired visa etc anyway

Yea she played me good for sure.

I have screenshots and messages still showing that it was a loan.
Spoke with friend who is a lawyer and said we can take her to civil court to get her to pay the money back but its worth the time if there are other debts making claim too.
