Do you realise (do you realise?) that the "universal translator" was a staple of science fiction from the 1940s onwards?
Is it really here? If so, that is brilliant.
Not for getting kisses from strangers - which depend much more on being handsome like that **** than a language barrier. But for sheer communication!
Being amongst the first to have it would give you a lot of cache', because soon it may be as common as a mobile phone.
I'm starting to think now. Is this the very first step towards world peace?
