Jia Yi (桃园) KTV reopened on 29/03/12 after minor renovations. So far my test runs have proven to be quite successful.
Hostess strength is approximately 300 on weekdays and 500 on weekends. Majority of the hostesses are in the 3•7•10 category.
Beverage prices are slightly cheaper than Mayflower (万怡) KTV.
From DJs to hostesses the service level is very good when compared to other popular KTVs. Hostess quality is better than Mayflower KTV. Many bros are very satisfied and surprised of the outcome as well.
Reminds me of my virgin trip to Jia Yi (桃园) KTV when I first visited CP many years ago. Hostesses are very attentive and fun. Not stuck up. In general the DJs and hostesses are more willing to please the customer on the whole.
I believe many bros started out their mongering career at Jia Yi (桃园) KTV when it was opened back in the mid 2000s. I'm sure it'll bring back a lot of nostalgic memories when they revisit this KTV again!
Keep up the good work Jia Yi (桃园) KTV! Jia Yi/Mayflower's boss really know how to do business by re-inventing itself again.

SUMMARY: In general the BBS scene in Shenzhen, Changping and Zhuhai is nothing like when compared to 4 years ago.
Authorities are trying very hard to exterminate these low end monger places as it's too in your face and open unlike the Saunas and KTVs.
One thing for sure is the BBS price in Shenzhen and Zhuhai remained the same throughout all these years!
In 2008 it was ¥130 (Short Time). In 2012 it's still ¥130 (Short Time).
BBS price in Changping is way overpriced. Currently ¥250 (Short Time) at Swan Lake Road (Tian E Hu) BBS.
There're cheaper (lesser than ¥100) BBS places in CP but I shall not go into that as the quality is below 5/10.
Nonetheless some of the Shenzhen BBS stocks are generally very attractive and good quality.
In Changping those Eurasia (Ou Ya)/Yi Hao KTV category 3-7-10 hostesses pales in comparision which is mostly 5.5-6/10 in looks.
So enjoy these last few remaining sparodic pockets of cheap BBS in South China while it lasts!

There're countless Saunas in the whole of Danshui. More than Changing.
Most Danshui Sauna establishments are small, less gimmicks and have lesser girls but gems can still be found.
Price is cheaper than Dongguan Saunas.
Price from ¥300. 100min. 2 shots.
Used to be even cheaper!

Did a lot of reece recently not just on entertainment but food as well.
There're a lot of food stalls along 长安南路.
Notably Claypot porridge stalls and surprisingly a Singapore Hainanese Chicken Rice stall.
Location is behind this bus stop 第六小学站 on 长安南路.
For those that have high standards and expectations then Danshui is not for you.
I feel Danshui is somethng like Changping in the early 2000s.
Currently Danshui is relatively cheaper (accomodation), efficient (every corner has a Sauna) and a laid back feel.
Due to the crackdown in Dongguan especially Changping.
Danshui has become a backup venue for many mongerers especially the Taiwanese.
The Shenzhen residents must be damn pissed with the current spill over from Changping. Hahaha. :D
Taiwanese agent is enjoying very brisk business at the moment.
I'm sure when the storm in Dongguan is over Danshui will revert to its former laid back self.
Danshui is the closest replication and younger brother of Changping.
If the Taiwanese can see value in Danshui then there must be some truth in it.
They're always the pioneers when it comes to discovering new places to have fun.

Just last night at Mayflower KTV, Gong An came again and did their routine checks on every floor.
They went to an opposite KTV room facing mine.
They'll randomly choose a room to inspect.
I asked the girls to get out of the room to hide first and return 30min later.

When the girls returned we continued the party and left around 11pm.

If Gong An really come in KTV room and inspect.
Ask DJ to get some tea for the whole Gong An gang and cooperate fully and be polite to them.
They're just doing their job.
Most importantly stay low profile.
Break into small groups and different rooms to party.
Don't do drugs, gamble and strip in KTV rooms.
Nobody can say when the crackdown will end unless you're the top guy issuing the order.

Royal Garden (Di Hao) Hotel at Dalang Town is a 5 Star Hotel opened in 2006.
It has weathered many big storms before but alas the almighty has fallen.
70 plus Dalang Town Gong An were mobilised for this raid.
68 masseuses and mongers in total were arrested in this early morning operation.
According to People's Republic of China Law on public security administration punishments the following consequences for an individual providing or engaging sex service are:
1) Detention for 10-15 days and fine up to RMB5000.
2) Less serious case. Detention for under 5 days or fine up to RMB500.
There're also other complications as well.
1) Detainee name may be blacklisted in immigration record as a "monger".
2) Family member may be informed to bail out detainee.

Dong Fang Mei Li (东方魅力) KTV is operating as per normal.
No half naked session allowed until furthur notice.
Hostess strength is low currently due to crackdown.
No checks by Gong An on the night that I went.
Played the usual washing machine game initiated by DJ.
Overall the DJs and hostesses are very sporting and service orientated.
Eat fruits, hand you a tissue.
Eat finger food, hand you a tissue.
Come out from toilet, also hand you a tissue.
Hostesses did not pull off a fast one by escaping after doing ST.
The hostesses with my group of bros all stayed till the next morning.
One of the hostesses even offered to do 3P and gave that bro 3 shots! :D
Trademarks of Changan KTV hostesses are their obedience and willing to please attitude.
No complaints by anyone on this road trip.

If you keep up with my July postings in various forums you'll notice me warning people about the seriousness of the raids in Changping for the whole of July. The hardest raids are over in Changping. What goes up will eventually come down. It makes no business sense for me to keep warning people but my concern is the safety of my customers. Safety before profit.
The situation in Changping during August is slowly improving. More girls are returning to work in the KTVs. Besides that I'll be in the KTV room every night to take care of everyone. If there's real danger do you think I'll risk myself by appearing in the KTV room? There's no other safer place than Changping now as authorities are busy raiding other cities/towns in Guangdong.
