Not sure I like the idea of negotiating with the ML towards the end of the massage session. Probably better to do that as soon as you walk into the room, otherwise you only get 15 mins nude.

Now, weighing in on the whole punt for promo thing. One former member who is active on another forum was banned by the admin for doing just that. Going back to my experience in another shop, the owner is very vocal about it. He says that as part of their training, the most common thing an ML will be told by a client is that they are friends with the owner.

They're trained to politely refuse extras etc. if that comes up. I guess saying that you are someone influential off a forum would pretty much be the same thing... The promise of a cheaper service or freebies.

If you take a step back and realise though that shop owners, no matter how nice someone is will likely never give a freebie, maybe you would realise that there are just some people that enjoy helping others out. It's certainly a good way to ensure that you always get good service from shops and ML's even if you don't get freebies.

I'm taking a step back from AR's for a little while. I think I've been lucky by getting good service so far. I've never identified myself to owners or ML's but I may be getting good service purely on the fact that I'm close to the ML's age. I'd hate to put out a misleading post.

Even if one of them suspected who I was, I have had plenty of good punts at other places that I've never reviewed and have no intention of reviewing so I know I'm not getting that treatment specifically because someone thinks they know who I am. I even wrote two great reviews on Styles but the Styles Admin deleted a whole heap of AR's so I didn't feel encouraged enough to rewrite them.

Anyway, I am of the opinion that it is far better to walk softly and carry a big-arse stick.
