One characteristic I've experienced with Indian providers is that they have more leeway from the shop. I'm thinking it's due to their "lesser" numbers in the provider population and their ability to make money for the shop. Thus, if they're late for their shift, it's tolerated. Has happened to me several times. Just today, I had a first booking with an Indian, and (at least) got a message from the shop that she was "running late", which was nice, except I was already on my way. And from past experience with others, that "15 minutes" is along the lines of an airport's "15 minutes" delay... I understand things happen, it's the laissez-faire attitude of the shop that irks me. I'm sure if I had the same attitude towards my bookings, I'd be persona non grata.

No problem. I was having doubts about the punt in the first place, just wasn't feeling it, so a convenient "not my fault" to bail. The shop made it clear they couldn't care less, and neither did I - money saved.
