Too bad I don't bring my passport today.

The economic cost to the world is going to be massive.
The Macao government has just announced as from midnight tonight. All casinos and entertainment venues in Macao will be closed for 15 days to avoid mass gathering of people and therefore eliminating most risks of spreading the virus ! Staff will be paid their usual wages to stay home .
Ps. Yes, that will include all sauna massage, nightclubs and Karaoke bars . So ALL punting activities will be stopped !

Soooo. Anyone want to share their experience with the whole passport checking thing?
This passport checking is hard to swallow, gonna hurt their business a lot. Not many people want to show their papers at a brothel!
An easier way is to just use your phone "timeline" page to show where you've been recently. Tough luck if you switched off this feature because you're a privacy freak, though.
On Android, just go to your Google Maps app and open the "Your Timeline" page and it'll show where you've been historically. Even better, this info cannot be edited as far as I know.
Not an iPhone user so don't know how to get this info there, but it is definitely there as well.

Yea I was thinking the same thing in terms of less business but was wondering if anyone has done it already? What’s the process in terms of reception? What do they check and how to they check it? Do they (and I hope not) take a photo or a scan of your passport?
