O Keefe's bowling in the first test was absolutely unfuckingreal! that pitch was fucked as well fucking looked like a sand pit and the ball was turning a ridiculous amount. Hopefully the pitches in the upcoming tests arent doctored for spin again and are an even balance. no wonder indian spin bowlers are the best in the world when the bowl on pitches like that!

I still think the turning point of the first test was in the first inning when Starc took two wickets in that one over including a two ball duck for the Indian captain Kohli ! His first ever duck at home ! That really broke their spirits !!Quote:

The Indians were caught out by their own cunning.
It's a well known fact that the Indians doctor their pitches to suit their spinners.
it has worked very well for them for many years.
Just look at India's record at home compared to overseas.
Home = champions. Overseas = average*
But this time it all went wrong for them.
They weren't counting on a freakish bowling spell from the Aussie spinner O'Keefe, or a freakish century from the Aussie captain Smith.
Karma finally caught up with the Indians.
* To be fair most teams away form is significantly worse than their home form. And most countries doctor their pitches to suit the home team.
Second test starting shortly, I am predicting another Aussie win and this time the quicks will be dominating and Smith and Warner each make a 100's

As a Rabbitohs supporter, I was really looking forward to this season to see if the boys could continue on from the form they showed in the last few weeks of 2016. Things were bubbling along nicely in the off season, no scandals or dramas of previous years and then.... it all went to shit! Firstly, Aaron Gray injured in the Auckland nines. Then Adam Reynolds out for possibly the first 4 weeks, and now the most likely season-ending injury to G.I. No excuses, all teams will have to deal with similar issues throughout the year, but I think we will struggle big time to make the top 8.

yeah we really need to re-bolster the middle order (its fucking horrible). we rely too much on the likes of handscomb to carry the middle order. I didnt watch the Test, but agree that Aussi batting order needs a few batters changed. We just gave the Indians motivation for a comeback
