Apparently it was a teenager (17 at the time) that actually set her alight and he received 6 years in 2014*. The story goes that Mohammed Ali Fouani threatened him and his family to get him to set her alight. Mr Fouani is still going through the courts as he disputes this story and claims that he only intended for the teenager to scare the victim (bullshit).
The latest on this pig is that the jury for his trial has been discharged (http://www.magic931.com.au/news/curr...ury-discharged). Doesn't mean he's getting away with it, the case will be relisted and he'll be right back in there.

Generally violence against women (and children) is looked at unfavourably in prison. It's likely he won't have an easy time if he gets a solid conviction. Look at Bilal Skaff and the troubles he's had in there....Quote:
