It won’t really hit the Aussie life style until the footy seasons start and all AFL and NRL games will have to be cancelled ?
This virus doesn't like the hot weather so we still have at least a month before it starts getting cooler.

I highly doubt Tokyo 2020 will go ahead
The US victim from Washington has not traveled overseas nor has been in contact with people from China, yet she got the virus and died. Should it be called Washington virus ?
Yes, it is said that the virus can’t survive temperature over 28°.
Im with Basil on this one.
Still dont really get the panic, and in reference to ALs Iranian Mortalilty rate, i think i already put something forward around their grade of hospital and medical care opposed to others is likely a factor. Not to say your opinion didnt mean anything mate.
Im quite certain way more than the numbers stated (specifically in AU) have the virus, or, probably more appropriately HAVE had it.
At work we got multiple people with sore throats and a "chesty" cough, known symptons of Coro.
They WFH for a few days or take a bit of time off (usually not more than 4 days) and they are back right as rain.
When asked, all they took was over the counter stuff. Your basic cough medicine cold n flu tablets etc.
Now MAYBE it WAS just your average friendly neighbourhood cold/flu. But if the contagiousness of Coro is to be trusted, its more than likely that that was what it was.
And those multiple people sneezing coughing om public transport? Yeah probably experiencing a touch of the Coro as well.
Look.
The bottom line is this. This does not seem to be the plague 2, return of the plague. Or Black Death 2: the blackening.
If you are scared and concerned thats fine. Do what you need to do, to assure yourself and your loved ones of your safety.
But understand that fear, makes you incredibly easy to control. So easy that you'll buy masks off me for more than the price of a triple diamond at Ginza for a paltry pack of 10. Youll buy because your scared, and it will be childs play for me to convince you those masks are your only chance of survival.
Not that im selling any.
Its basically businesses suffering, xenophobia, and economy issues that are the biggest negative outcomes of Coro.
Imo anyway.
The olympics is one big giant orgy, things could go south pretty fast...
You have a point there. Were any people that arrived from overseas for the Mardi Gras checked? We don't have anything set up at the airports to monitor whether people are arriving with fevers or other virus symptoms. Someone said the virus prefers cold conditions. We're moving to winter in a few months. Let's see how it will affect us within the next few months.
better stock up on food supplies
Latest news for South Korea, the government has arrested the founder of that church group where the infected cases had exploded, him and 12 of the group leaders may be charged with attempted murder as they had hidden the fact that many of their members had visit Wuhan in January, their members were told to have faith and no need to wear mask. Then afterwards had refused to supply their members lists to the authority hence missing out on any opportunity of containing the spread.
The MotoGP race in Qatar has been cancelled as the Government there has enforced 14 day quarantine for anyone coming from Italy.
The most infectious countries all share one thing in common: Winter
Now that it just turned to Spring over there and the weather is warming up, the infection rate should slow down. I think Australia had been insulated from the viral infection because of the Summer temperatures.
My good friend whom use to be a regular for Ginza just find out caught the virus after visit one of the Jap girl last week. He was all of sudden keep coughing with light fever after the visit in the next day.
Damn, all of AUS99 brothers!!
Pls watch out & stay away GINZA!!!
Unsubstantiated accusations ! If you don’t back off, you’ll be kicked out of here !
If your friend visited Ginza and felt the symptoms after he got home, most probably your friend was a carrier before going to Ginza, because the symptoms don’t show during the incubation period. He got it from somewhere else in the last two weeks and brought the risk to Ginza !
Unless your friend with the health authority confirmed the source, malicious attack to an advertiser is not allowed.
At the end of day, just hope all the brother stay safe & happy punting..... Don't risk yourself and your family for this virus!
